Random plot I thought up 30 seconds ago.

Speaking of Power Rangers, Ron Wasserman just released updated versions of the original Power Rangers soundtrack here a couple months back if anyone cares.

Wouldn't it be better to just use Worms' turn system if it was gonna be a Worms-like game? Though what I had in mind (which is somewhat similar) was the old Final Fantasy games' Active Time Battle system. Unlike FFX and onward, the games back in the day had a little gauge that filled up for each character on the field that, when full, allowed them to do an action. Each action has a charging time (regular attack's charge time is almost nonexistent, casting Flare will take you almost 3 turns worth of actions), and your Speed (or agility, or something, it's been a while) increases the rate at which your next turn arrives. Though it'd be really fun to have a game that worked like Final Fantasy Legend 2 (actually SaGa 2, renamed for the US release because people were buying FF like hotcakes in 1990), which is a strict turn based system (Speed does determine your order) that has certain distinct character classes, namely Humans, Mutants, Monsters, and Robots. Humans use weapons and level up more drastically in physical stats, Mutants use magic and level up more drastically in mental stats, Monsters don't get anything from leveling up, you have to eat stronger monsters to turn into them (using a fairly simple hex formula to determine what KIND of the 32 monster types you turned into). Monster levels range from level 0 (starting monsters ONLY) to level 5 (end-game boss monster level), and Robots don't level up either, they gain attributes based on weapons equipped. See, some wepaons used either Strength or Agility to determine damage, like Longswords vs Whips. So Equipping a Robot with a Longsword adds to its Str, equipping a Whip adds to his Agi score, equipping armor increases his Def, and so on. Weapons (and Magic books) are limited in uses, Robots get half as many uses but restore them at Inns or with restorative items. And to make up for their ballnormous stats they take like triple damage from spells. I mother♥♥♥♥ing love that game.

But it happens almost every time I do it. S'just like me and sticky grenades in Halo. If I have them, fuck you. Because even if I miss and throw them into a gravity lift on Spire, they'll bounce back and forth for 5 whole minutes before sticking someone and blowing up. True story, look at my shared replays if you have an Xbox Live account.

I never miss with throwing knives. I have literally just chucked one straight up in the air and had it come down later and kill someone before.

In all seriousness if throwing knives are allowed I'll win every time.
