It's not like Gears of War though, it's built mostly around stealth. So you can get in cover and peek around until the guard goes by and stuff. It's also unlike Gears of War in that in GoW you can charge the enemy with no issues and murder them at point blank, and if you try to do that in this game you'll get mulched by the other 3 guys immediately after you do a sweet takedown on guy #1.

Maybe. $5 means you're no losing much but I find I'm unable to keep interest in it for longer than an hour. You spend 80% of your time in cover though so the 3rd person moniker would fit.

Arkham City is great but I hear it's hella buggy on PC. Get it on console if you get it. Also, Binary, get Bioshock 2 as well while you're at it.

The quests tie into a much more interesting story and most are either amusing or have a purpose, unlike the first which was hit or miss. BL2 is in all ways better than Bl1, but if you didn't like running around and shooting things with ludicrous firepower in the first game, you won't in this one, unless you get into the story. I know after a certain event or two I got really ♥♥♥♥ing invested even though in BL1 I was like lolstory.
