You know what I just realized I used to play that Goof Troop game ALL THE TIME. It's a pretty damn fun game. I didn't remember it until I started watching this.

Ah. I'm doing a low-ish Chaos run. I'm going to try my damnedest to never kill guards/Overseers, but I'm still going to kill the targets (though probably using the creative death route rather than straight up shanking them). Thugs and people threatening innocent civilians are fair game though.

Except that's not the same type of situation at all. It's more like a war. You and another country may detest each other, let's say this country bases its entire economy off of human trafficking or something. You HATE this. But you can unite towards a common goal or for the greater good because it benefits more people than sticking to some moral high ground that benefits no one. Not accepting their help benefits neither of you, and depending on which country is weaker in military strength, is likely to screw one more than the other. You don't have to like it, but uniting for the common goal is the most logical choice.
