Oh yes, I did that immediately afterward. You know, before that mission I kinda felt bad for killing Engineers because they always seemed so pitiful when they died.Never again. I know it's a bit illogical to be attached to a character that technically isn't that important "in the grand scheme" but dammit I was really attached.

I see what you meant, I believe, but I don't think you understand how much more I liked and played our Truxican friend and all his accoutrements in BL1 than the rest of the crew.

My 10th grade history teacher was very well traveled. High school teachers get paid a mite more than Elementary/Middle teachers, and the more places you've been the better you can spruce up your lesson plan with anecdotes. That and many schools do a travel abroad trip dealy every year, generally sponsored by History/Language teachers. Did we go to the same high school? So basically your feet are tender because you don't walk around barefoot enough, you don't know how to wear sandals, you can't use any of the beach's provided showers, and you're inept at applying sunblock.Good to know. =p

Derivitive from the superhero thread.

Eh?No, the Speed Force is basically some cosmic energy in the DC universe that grants most speedsters their power.Basically it does a few things:1.) It makes people move faster than normal. Not all speedsters are equal because not all of them can channel the same amount of the speed force.2.) It makes them immune to friction while they're running basically to stop them from basically setting themselves on fire and rubbing the skin off their body when they run.3.) I think it works in a bubble around them that speeds up air molecules and suchlike to their speed so they can breathe properly.4.) It cushions blows delivered and received while active, which is why the Flash can punch someone while moving at the speed of light without atomizing himself, and why when he's punched by people like Superman he doesn't just die instead of brushing himself off no worse for wear.5.) It speeds up their reflexes so they can react to moving that fast (compare and contrast Flash and Sloth from FMA if they moved at the same pace. Flash can move around like normal, but super fast, and Sloth basically goes blind when he moves at super speed).6.) A whole bunch of other Required Secondary Powers for super speed. It takes care of them all. What you're thinking about would basically be the beginning of this episode of Red vs Blue. Also, that's only the movies/Ultimate Universe.I thought that was all Wolverine versions too until recently-ish but apparently in the normal Marvel universe Wolverine has accelerated healing/regeneration, and he CAN recover from basically anything that doesn't kill him, but it could take hours, days, or even weeks depending on how bad the damage is.Basically, yeah he can heal a puncture wound in an hour, but being torched by a flamethrower or summat is gonna put him out of commission for at least a week.Interesting tidbit: Apparently the adamantium slows down his healing factor, since it has to work constantly to stop him from being poisoned and killed by the metal.Edit: Actually, apparently over time Wolverine's healing factor has been ramped up to the point where things like gunshot wounds and slashing his eyes out can be healed in seconds. Apparently it can also cure Lycanthropy and Vampirism. -
The shopped ones aren't really funny.Stop posting 'em and get back to the good stuff.

You should read/watch some Superman stories some time.Superman stories are interesting because of one (or both) of 2 reasons usually:A.) Some kind of moral quandary he has about whether he should do something or not/whether he's getting too full of himself maybe (when Superman starts thinking "A God Am I!" it's time to run)/ some other reason.B.) Some super powerful God/Demigod/Cosmic entity shows up and is either a match for Superman or outright whips his ass no problem, meaning he has to fight smart to win instead of powering his way through. The Justice League tv series has a bit of both in most of the episodes featuring Supes if I remember right, and I'm honestly not a reader of comics as much as I am a follower of comic storylines. That is, I kinda just read about shit that happens after it has completed, like on a wiki or something, or hearing about it on AT4W.Also, Static Shock is the bomb.

Really. It updates like every 6 hours but it never changes anything so I have no ♥♥♥♥ing clue what it's updating for. It's hard to find what you want since last I checked you had to know the exact name of what you were searching for (keyword searches are only made by people who know what they're doing). And most of all, the layout of it is just so unorganized and shitty that I never use it.

Kiloace is the necromancer, calling it now. He has a business card and everything. KILOACE Forum Necromancer and Heartbreaker c. 4000 B.C. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2135034&highlight=necromancer On another note, reading some of Kiloace's old posts is painful. Edit: Holy hell just realized that thread was from September 22nd a year ago. Huh.

Game is pretty great. I've only got to snatch about 4 hours of game time from it so far but it's fun as hell.
