Considering only people who are ACQUAINTED WITH THE SERIES would know that the colors and symbols have any significance, its obviously not doing a good job. This defies all possible fucking logic of character design. You want characters that are supposed to have unique features not be defined by something as arbitrary as color. How was I supposed to know this before I made this thread? Research "random Homestuck character" and hope it came up with the correct image and explanation? Look at this: These guys are different colors. Are they different people?

Why would I need to know character details about characters in a comic I have no interest in and have no intention of trying to gain an interest in?Especially since the biggest differences you can come up with are: A different colored BACKGROUND, some clothing, and a slight change in horn shape.
