Which is why the retarded stat was made up in the first place, because Valve couldn't be bothered to give them stats that are useful by themselves. Which is the downside to playing Engineer. You get a 128 DPS + Rockets aimbot that shuts down an area pretty effectively. In exchange, you're chained to your base. Go Gunslinger if you want to be mobile. Correction: Hardly anyone in PUBS uses the Homewrecker. It makes your life a living hell in HL for no real cost to the Pyro. ^This.
