Never heard of Hawlucha before now (but it looks awesome), Skarmory I'll grant, But Heracross and Shuckle? Heracross and Pinsir are basically the same, and they stop being such powerhouses after early levels. And Shuckle really only lends itself to the "Tank and DoT like a madman" strategy until maybe after it gets that move that makes its Atk = Def. And those are just a few as compared to ones like Stantler or Farfetchd which are meh at any level. The game just gives these massive powerups and more diverse movesets to evolving Pokemon only, generally. Plus, it's satisfying to see what they turn into anyway. =)

You should come to Florida sometime. You'd love it.

I'm not a fan of 'Mon that don't evolve...mostly because I can't think of any non-Legendary that doesn't evolve that remains good throughout the whole game, except maybe Snorlax.

Some of the designs are meh but none of them so far are "Holy fuck what were they thinking" like Vanillice or whatever. The bad ones are on the level of some of the early gens' weird bad designs like Mr. Mime or that green electric dog from Gen 3.

I'm pretty hyped for this one. Haven't looked forward to a new Pokemon since HeartGold. Looks like they've made quite a few changes, and I really like the designs for most of these Pokemon. And no more playing the RNG for IVs then grinding for EVs, yay!

I'm not a Street Fighter guy but Balrog looked fun enough in his preview video I'm considering getting the game to try it out.

Well, there are a few god ones, but the ones that were good kind of begged for a sequel (Toy Story). Some of the others are decent as well (Monsters University, and I hear Finding Dory is pretty good actually). And I have high hopes for Incredibles 2. But Wreck It Ralph? The story was wrapped up quite nicely in the first one. Best case scenario: They don't ruin it.

Went ahead and bought Pillars of Eternity and Divinity: Original Sin. Gonna play DOS first just because I hear it's more fun (and funny). I'll get into PoE when I'm in the mood for something heavier.
