Started the LP in the Gaming Discussion sub-forum.

So I've kinda gotten bored with all of the newer games I have, having replayed most of them 2-3 times now, and got a hankering to play some of my older PS2 games.But I'm having trouble deciding which one (s) I should play:The Ratchet and Clank series (I don't have going Commando, but I have Up Your Arsenal and the original)The Jak and Daxter series (2 and 3, I dunno what happened to The Precursor Legacy)Final Fantasy XFinal Fantasy XIIThe Kingdom Hearts series (the true ones anyway)Also, if anyone cares I could do kind of a text Let's Play type thing of them where I recap what I've done and how many times I've failed miserably/hideously destroyed my foes.

Dive to the Heart (AKA the Dream Sequence AKA the Tutorial): (My ACTIONS in Blue, my Dialogue in Orange.) Mysterious Disembodied Voice (paraphrased): Slow down, take your time. Here, let me teach you how to walk. I of course walk into the light as he tells me to. *Platforms pop out of the ground, revealing a Sword, a Staff, and a Shield* Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Power sleeps within you. Pick one of these and you can use it. By the way, you can jump with the O button. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: About each weapon. Sword: It's a sword of terrible destruction. It kills things pretty good (raises ATK power) Shield: The Shield that allows you to protect your friends (Raises DEF). Staff: A Staff of wonder and ruin. Can zap things with magic (raises Magic power). I take the sword. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Cool, now you have to get rid of one of the others. Without hesitation I chuck the Shield into a pit. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: You have taken the power of great destruction. You have given up the power to protect your friends. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Are you sure this is what you want? Yes. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: ... Mysterious Disembodied Voice: What a heartwarming hero you are. My platform shatters and drops me onto Cinderella's dress. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Now that you have your sword, you can whack things with X. I wave my sword around wildly for a few swings. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Good job! You really showed that air who's boss. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Oh by the way, that green thingy is your health bar. If it runs out, you die, so try to avoid that. Mysterious Disembodied Voice:Oh and that blue one is your Magic Points. You don't know how to use Magic yet, but I figured this was useful info for you to learn now. Something starts to pop out of the ground. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Sometimes you'll have to fight. I kill one of the "mysterious beings". Mysterious Disembodied Voice: You gain experience by killing things. With enough EXP you gain a level. Also, sometimes enemies drop stuff. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU! Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Oh by the by, you usually lock onto the nearest enemy automatically, but you can lock onto one manually with R1. Supposedly there's a downside to this but you'll not often experience it. Black holes open in the ground. I get sucked into one and end up flailing like a spaz on a bright pink floor. Good thing nobody saw that. Ahem. I walk to the weird ghost door. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Hey! You can look at stuff with the "Examine" command at the bottom of your menu. I can't open it. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Huh? Oh...LOOK AT THE SHINY CHEST! I open the chest by beating it with a sword...somehow. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Hey guess what? YOU CAN PUSH CRATES! I push the crate. Err...that's cool and all but what's the point of- Mysterious Disembodied Voice: NOW SMASH IT! Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Oh good it had a potion inside. Glad that wasn't COMPLETELY gratuitous. The weird ghost door suddenly has a solid outline! Mysterious Disembodied Voice: You can lock onto objects too, not just enemies. Oh, that sounds like it might come in handy some- Mysterious Disembodied Voice: NOW SMASH IT! I do so, for some reason. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Good job. You may now enter the door. Damn it's bright. Suddenly I'm outside, on half a pirate ship. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: So, tell me more about yourself. I'm SO interested. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Also you can go into first person view with Select. This is utterly pointless, but a pretty nifty feature I think. I walk over to the girl. Hey baby, what's up? Selphie: So what's more important to you? Being number one, Friendship, or your prize possessions? Errr...if I had to choose I guess It'd be...Being Number One? Selphie: Is that really such a big deal? I walk over to the funny looking kid with half pants, half shorts and a vest. So, what's up? Tidus: What are you so afraid of? Afraid of- wait what? I dunno. Being indecisive? Tidus: Is that really so scary? ... I walk over to the guy with the massive cowlick and the weird lumpy volleyball. Wakka: What do you want out of life? Hrm, I'm not sure. To broaden my horizons? Wakka: To broaden your horizons, huh? Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Well okay then. Your adventure begins at midday, because that has something to do with horizons probably. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: I'm not entirely sure when you will open the door. It may be soon, or it could be a long time from now. I am now on Sleeping Beauty's body. The Voice is a perv. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Hey, you have a menu! Access it with Start. But you can't open it during battle. Well okay then, lemme just check this stuff out and- Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Nope! You're in a battle! Ain't I a stinker? Well fine, I beat them all. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Hey look, that green circle is a save point. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Staircases! I walk up the staircases and... Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Oh by the way, your shadow wants to eat you. OM NOM NOM. Pleasant dreams! Holy crap! I beat the crap out of my shadow, leveling up in the process. Oh wait. According to the cutscene, my sword disappears and I get knocked into a puddle of darkness goo. Well crap. Mysterious Disembodied Voice: Don't be afraid, you hold the mightiest weapon of all! Jackass. I have it. I'll be replaying the R&C series next. The cutscenes are, at MAX 15 minutes long. The the second one has skippable cutscenes by the way.And you don't have to watch them again if you don't die. ;)

I like that card.But I want something a smidge more lightning themed. And something to do with stealing Life Points, but only if I attack your life points directly instead of attacking a monster to damage you (geddit?).Thanks in advance. :)

Yeah, I found her blog thingy. She dug up a ♥♥♥♥ing month old joke to throw up, because she's a bitch. No other explanation.And LordKat's issue seems to be that he blames Spoony for him not being able to interview Notch a couple of years back.I also lol'd at LK's whole rant about Spoony being "nobody" when the only reason anyone knows who the ♥♥♥♥ HE is is because of this whole fiasco.I still haven't figured out what sparked this whole thing though, just how it expanded.Spoony's far from a saint, and isn't blameless in this whole deal, but everyone else is being as big of a prick as he is, if not more so.
