Mmkay, so when I was a young lad, me and my brother used to play games out in the yard. Sort of like LARPing, but we made up our own original characters, setting, and story, and then went along with it. Part of the reason that I was so enamored with the Narrative Designer job I'm aiming for now.So I used to use "darkfire92292" for everything. Because darkfire was cool, I thought, and my birthday was very flowy like that.SO anyway, I had to make up a character for this game. And I wanted him to use this darkfire element. Naming him darkfire would be BEYOND corny, stupid, and ridiculous, so I started thinking. I wanted something vaguely asian sounding, but could be shortened to a sort of western sounding name. Ryn came about because it sounded kind of like Rin from Final Fantasy X, and could sound kind of like Ryan if I wanted it to. Jin because I loved Jin the wind guy from Yu Yu Hakusho. He was funny. So Rynjin the Demon Slayer was born(Rin as in Tin, Jin as in...Tin). I used this character for a while, refined him, used the name on MANY iterations of the same character. He has a pretty impressively detailed backstory now, and I've found that this name is never taken. Bar once, a year ago when I needed a Gmail account.Turns out Rynjin (or Ryujin) is a Chinese dragon of storms, as pictured below in my signature.And I was like, "Well, I did a very good job at making it sound asian then."

At least people who give no money aren't acting under the pretense that they're helping children out of the goodness of their hearts. They either have no money, or truly don't care enough to spend it. Either way, they're HONEST. These people are making a huge profit off of these people's suffering by "raising awareness", and then giving the scraps of their paychecks to the relief fund to assuage their consciences. 31% is only a THIRD of what most charities actually donate to, well, CHARITY.Even worse than that, this money isn't going to feed the poor or anything like that. No, it's funding what amounts to a mercenary army of people nearly or just as bad as the man they're trying to remove.The awareness is fine. The donations are quite possibly going to worsen the situation tenfold when their country is thrown into the middle of a war between the power hungry insane dictator and his child army versus the entirely adult army of rapists and murderers that are supposedly going to "free" them.
