ITT We Appreciate Good Video Game Music
Rynjin replied to Arm the Homeless's topic in Entertainment Theater
On occasion I feel the need to remind myself that the composers for the Kingdom Hearts games' soundtracks are masters. These are the two I ended up listening to today. -

It's funny because everyone I know who's met Nye says he's an incredibly short tempered asshole. -
Turns out there's no VSync option in the config. Maybe I'll just turn it off in the AMD configurer doohicky and hope it doesn't crash.

Ah, cool. I checked AppData but assumed it would be in Local. I'll look in Roaming later.

Unfortunately, no.

So I went ahead and got Dark Souls 3. On the plus side, the game runs at a silky smooth framerate, and looks beautiful. ...Of course when it runs, it does so in glorious sloooooooooooooooooowwwwww moooooooooooootttttiiiiiioooonnnnn for some reason. Seems to be a rare, but previously seen issue of some kind. I hear turning VSync off might help, but every time I try to access the Graphics menu in-game it slows down horrendously (all of the other menus are fine...). I looked for the .ini file but couldn't locate it. Anyone know if it might be somewhere weird besides the game folder in steamapps/common?

Here's the pros and cons for Bloodborne vs Dark Souls 3: Bloodborne: -Has a better setting -Fast paced gameplay -Sweet transforming weapons Dark Souls 3: -I actually have a PC, but not a PS4. As for rolling, I already do that. Shielding was boring in the first area so I started dual wielding the Caestus and rolling like a madman. Worked pretty good until after Huntsman's Copse where the lack of reach started dicking me over so I respecced to use this sweet rapier I found there, and just added the Washing Pole as a secondary weapon until I'm stronk enough to use the Drangleic Sword I found way early on. Can't fast roll, but I have the normal roll in heavy armor and invincibility frames for days so all's good.

Friend got me Dark Souls 2: SotFS and I'm loving it so far (just got through Harvest Valley and killed the Covetous Demon). May actually purchase Dark Souls 3, the gameplay looks much faster paced which fits my playstyle better.

I finally gave up when I realized I had no goddamn clue what was going on with the Back Channel shit.

Not yet, no. Been busy. And no more so than the other Fallout games, really. Unless you count the repeating quests from Preston and the Minutemen.

I've had two people try to fuck with my Steam account in the last couple of weeks, and changing my password doesn't seem to have helped. Steamguard caught it both times (I got the "someone tried to access your account from another computer" e-mail twice), but it's still kinda worrisome.

256 Jeremy Owens' in the US. -
Nah, Arin hasn't talked shit about it at all. The worst he's said is "It was a great innovation for its time, it just hasn't aged well and later games have done the formula better" which TBH is nothing but pure truth.

They all go through the same basic training anyway, so not like it matters. -

It is indisputably better than Win 8. I'd say it's a good sidegrade to Win 7. It takes a lot of the good stuff from 8 but removes a lot of the BS "streamlining" that made that one a nightmare. -

How so? He's ambitious, certainly (probably overly so with all he wants to change, given the current political landscape), but not crazy. Is it the hair? "I don't know a thing about any other candidates. " That's because there is literally nothing interesting about any of them, besides hilarious stupid things they've said. From Ben "Pyramids were for storing grain, not tombs for pharaohs" Carson to Jeb! "Please clap" Bush, there's no need to delve into the other 15 or however many candidates, except maybe Marco Rubio, who IIRC is a somewhat distant third place behind Trump and Cruz. -

I was under the impression several of the protests broken up over the last month WERE made outside the events. This isn't the first one he's had dispersed. -

I think it would be more like if I was holding an event as a public figure running a campaign based entirely on the power of controversy and someone organized a rally protesting the statements I'd made Of course then they go full retard when I kick them out, but them being bigger assholes doesn't make me less of one. -

Define disruptive? Protests, by their very nature, are disruptive. That's...kinda the point of them. Trump has no more right to shoo away non-violent protesters for being disruptive than they have to get violent. And not all of the protests he's had dispersed have been borderline riotous.
