Kids have better taste than a lot of people give them credit for. At the age range this show seems to be aimed at (given it's Cartoon Network, somewhere around 9-12), kids have already grown out of the stage where simply making funny faces and screaming is always what they want out of entertainment. There's plenty of great kids shows which are also great shows in their own right, or are kids shows that are clearly aimed at kids with no appeal to adults but it's also clear that there's quality and care involved in the production. This show doesn't look to be either of those.

It's not even that it looks the same, it's that it looks like shit. Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab look the same, but they look good. Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom look the same, but they look good. It's a matter of talented artists having a style they carry to other works they do. The people working on these homogenized Cartoon Network shows lack that talent.

Got bored enough to dig into my backlog of old anime again, so I'm finally watching Initial D. Breddy gud. Car talk mostly goes over my head and the CG is bad, but I like most of the characters and they sell the excitement of the action pretty well a lot of the time. Kinda reminds me of Hajime no Ippo where most of the best episodes are the ones that don't involve boxing.

The only CCG I play is Hearthstone. Apparently I'm trash for running Genn Paladin, if the incoming nerfs are to be believed. =/

The glove looks really cool. The cloth part looks kinda bad, but the part covering the hand is excellent IMO. I'm surprised so many people recognized you as Dick Gumshoe; I would have expected more people to call you out as Constantine or something.

Anybody else watching Megalo Box this season? I know most of you guys seem to only watch the moe shows and slice of lifes but it's a pretty solid boxing series for those into that. It's kinda like Hajime no Ippo if the protagonist was built like Spike instead of a fantasy dwarf meat-machine and everybody wore completely worthless mechanical enhancements that serve no discernible purpose but look neat I guess. It also has a nice throwback aesthetic which scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Also, anybody have firsthand impressions of Hinamatsuri? it looks pretty funny, and I've heard good things, but nobody I know is watching it.

I'll go boring and say "minor telekineis". Enough to give me the equivalent of a couple of extra limbs for holding stuff and reaching me my mug from a few feet away.

Where've you guys been since 2014 or so? Under a rock? Since Greenlight really took off it's been like this. The only literal requirement to get your game on Steam is to have an executable that launches.
