Ants are cool. When I was little I used to like making ants from different colonies fight. One time, for science class, I made a group of red ants fight some black ants, but they were too evenly matched. I tossed a fire ant in there, and every single one from both sides (had to be dozens of them) ganged up on it. It killed them all. Ripped their heads right off their bodies and wore their heads like bracelets around its legs (seriously, they'd bite around the legs and this mean fucker would just rip their heads off and leave the heads clamped to its legs). Don't mess with fire ants.

I've heard nothing but excellent things about the series, I really should play it some time. One minor question: Isn't this the very definition of a sidegrade? Something new and cool that doesn't obsolete the previous option? If it was an upgrade, it WOULD obsolete them, it would be better in every way.

Yeah, and if you ever tried to use ANYTHING BUT a Shotgun or Pistols you got called a "Sprayer" and booted from the server. Loved the game, but man was the community shit. Wonder if Gunz 2 is any better?

I didn't mind the prologue. It wasn't as good as Fallout 3's, IMO, but directly seeing life before the war for what I believe is the first time was very interesting. It also was fairly short, and served as a solid tutorial.

Kingdom Hearts 2 would be it, I think. The whole franchise is my favorite series of games, but 2 was where it hit its stride the most. Better voice acting, cheesier but somehow less cringy cutscenes, and a whole lot more FUN (at the expense of difficulty, somewhat, but eh). I have yet to feel as much EXCITEMENT about the release of a game as I have when I was anticipating KH2. I got the game and marathoned it, pulling the first all-nighter I ever have because I just couldn't put it down. I still get warm feelings whenever Sanctuary plays. It's kinda funny, because replaying the HD Final Mix versions, I realize there are not many worlds I actually look forward to playing, and yet somehow the whole package just makes me feel good playing it.

I'm quite liking an Agility/Luck/Perception build using one handed guns (mostly Energy Weapons). Penetrator and Gun Fu, plus the Critical Perks.

Spreading your stats around evenly is more important than before. Intelligence is LESS important than before (i.e. it is not the sole deciding factor of whether you get a lot out of your level up). Most stats have something worthwhile. Don't fuck with SuperMutants at low levels. Don't fuck with Yao Guai at low levels. Don't fuck with Gunners at low levels. In fact, don't fuck with much of anything at low levels. Kill some Raider and Bloatflies and dogs. They only have a 30% chance to wreck your shit. Much better odds. Crafting is mandatory. I feel no shame in bypassing the KILL. LOOT. RETURN. treadmill by just consoling in a bunch of crafting materials. Mama Murphy is the worst. Hippy stoner bitch with her juju crystals and psychic visions.

I changed my mind. THE GRINDING BURNS Still kinda fun, but waaaay too much grinding. Grind for levels, grind for items, grind for moves. Grind for item and moves that have a low drop rate from an event that has a low chance to trigger that you have an okay chance of beating. Grind so you can grind more. Grind grind grind. Grind-y grinding grinder. Can we talk about how stupid the word "grind" is and looks?

Well, Brian Bedford died yesterday too, so that theory's already shot. Granted, he's not nearly AS BIG of a celebrity.
