Can I get some Cliff Notes?

Sounds fun. I enjoyed Bad Company 2 when I could get a good squad together, if it's anything like that I may give it a whirl.

Probably not much, thankfully. Dinner with the immediate family for Christmas, and gift giving ofc. Probably spend all of Christmas Day watching Christmas movies and messing around with new stuff. Basically cut ties with all the extended family on both sides and my dad a couple of years back, so I don't have to deal with any of the obnoxious members of the family (which is basically everyone but my cousins). Never do much on New Years. Maybe we'll play some board games.

​To survive it, yes. You can block the attack with reflect, IIRC. ​There is no Reflect in the first game. All you got is Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Aero, Stop, and Gravity.

​Assuming you are leveling normally, you'll only get one MP Rage, and only with the staff, before Ansem. Similarly, Second Chance will only show up late game with the shield. A few abilities have had AP and MP requirement changes. MP Gift requires 2 MP instead of one, meaning Goofy can't give endless cure anymore. ​...Second Chance only shows up with the Shield? So, eh, Sephiroth is literally unpossible to beat now? I was pretty sure you actually REQUIRED Second Chance to survive Descend, Heartless Angel.

It is, but only because Sora's abilities were re-balanced. Other than that, the actual damage dealt and taken seems to be the same, at least to me. ​It seems like everything hits harder than I remember. Also, which abilities were rebalanced and how?

Oh well.

​It's ehhhhh. I hear Second Raid is a LOOOOT better than the original, but I couldn't make it through more than half of FMP. I got up to where there was a giant robot attacking everyone and realized I just didn't care about anything or anyone and whatever they were doing.

Speaking of, I've been going through and removing people from my Facebook friends list whenever they post something so stupid it makes my eye twitch. Very freeing. So far, I've removed two, though I lament that I won't be able to remove the biggest source (my grandmother on my dad's side).

Eh, guess I was wrong. All I remember is a bunch of whining, not that there was a good point to it. My bad. In other news, playing through Kingdom Hearts again (finally get to play the HD remix), and is it just me or is the Final Mix Proud Mode A LOT harder than the original's?

Is the CS:Go community different? I remember the elitism regarding 1.6 vs Source and assumed that was still the norm.

That's really fucking stupid, even for Valve. Even if the changes were GOOD, the CS community has shown they're adamantly against any kind of change to the game(s) to begin with. This was a lose-lose move.

Japanese has like billion different modes of speech, and I'm pretty sure there's a dedicated "Delinquent" speech mode, which includes the rrrrrrr's. The Japanese seem weirdly obsessed with the Spanish language, so maybe that's why?

God help me, but it actually looks like a fun retroclone.

​It's a massive pain in the dick, but manageable. Mostly a problem when turning out of a parking lot or whatever onto a road. When in doubt, just wait until there are no cars around. If the people behind you don't like it, tough tits.

​Where the hell do you live? TBH I wish they had those laws here, too many suicidal fucking morons drive in this country. ​I didn't get mine until just before I turned 21. Never had a car to practice with. Took Driver's Ed as an elective, but never got to drive. Ended up failing the first time because yeah, duh, and got a driving instructor a few years later when I had a car available to drive, and got it then.

May as well download the full Spells and Powers by WarriorKeKe pack, actually. Fun stuff like Unrelenting Force in spell form combined with Time Stop to make stuff like sending Heimskr into orbit. I had fun with that. Stopped time, cast the Unrelenting Force spell like 20 times, and watched him rocket off. IIRC you can also catch arrows in flight by clicking on them, just like if they were stuck in a wall.

Eh, the only game that looks worth buying is Lichdom, and I already have that. It's definitely worth $5 though if you guys don't. It's a pretty solid shooter/pseudo-RPG.
