New episode of One Punch Man was pretty good. Not as hype as 5, but a lot of the backstory and explanations for things that "didn't make sense" in earlier episodes for people unfamiliar with the manga. EX: "How does Saitama afford his house?" , "Why does nobody ever get hurt when he destroys these buildings?", and "Is Saitama really that powerful, or is everybody else just a wimp?"

Well, as mentioned in the FO4 thread, Green Man Gaming is doing a 20% off promo. Game + Season pass for $72 (so the season pass is only $12, basically). But in a general sense, buying the season pass for Fallout and Elder Scrolls game is a good deal. The DLC is generally even better than the base game and adds quite a bit of content. And there's usually at least 3-4 big, meaty expansions. So if you wanted to get it later, you'd be paying $60-80 for what you can pay $30 for now. Plus whatever small DLC that might come out for $1-5 along with it. Considering every Bethesda game since...Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall I believe has had a minimum of two major well received DLC/Expansions, I have a hard time believing they'd break that trend. Oblivion had Shivering Isles (worth $40 on its own, IMO) and the expansions have been of similar quality since then.

Genji looks pretty sweet. He's like a Pyro/Demoknight hybrid. DoT, projectile reflection, with a melee focus and a dash-charge ability.

Thoughts in order: -Looks neat. His art style is a good contrast to the more recent "slick" looking anime. Really all I can describe most of the recent anime I've seen as anyway. -What's it about though? -Wow that CGI dragon looks so bad -Wait hold on a sec what time period is this meant to take place in? So we have a guy being a ronin or whatever chopping people (and elves, apparently) into little bits and a bowman and horseback riding and then all of a sudden he's dressed in much more modern looking clothing like he's about to take a ride in a bi-plane and there's flamboyant men that look like they took a page out of the JoJo villain handbook when coordinating their outfits.

Resident Evil 4 for PC is a pizza chit. Cutscenes are basically unwatchable because the audio desynchs by like a full minute and it's obnoxious. Guess I'll buy it for the 360 or PS3 or something.

Man that episode was good. I forgot how awesome the Genos and Saitama sparring match was, and this is the episode with my favorite panel from the manga ("Snek. Snek? SNEEEEK!?!").

I heard some really bad stuff about it when it first came out, has it been improved?

I didn't think I'd laugh at the same picture of a hapless seal being launched so high he can shake hands with seagulls twice but I was wrong. Is that a thing orcas do regularly or is this some weird accident?

Nero is a puss but his devil arm is pretty cool. His gun is meh and his vroom vroom sword is goofy as fuck. Dante plays like DMC3 Dante except you can switch Styles on the fly now, so it's AWESOME.

​ I skimmed a few chapters of the manga and while it seems decent I'll wait until there's an english dub. I hate having to read subtitles. ​Thats a good way of putting it. It's really starting to ruin the convention scene. Hell just take a look at what happened to the san diego comic con. 8 years ago everything was fine and then Disney bought out marvel, moms and tweens flooded in to meet twilight the vampire, and the media took over. Now it's nothing but a $3000 trip you take to watch fucking commercials a week before everyone else sees them. Even Dragoncon is starting to see this happen and it is a completely fan run convention. Thursdays and Fridays are still almost as good as they always were but the second that fucking parade hits the streets of atlanta saturday morning every asshole touristy daywalker and their snot nosed kids flood the convention floors and make the convention so much worse. Even the parade itself is no longer a bunch of nerds showing off their cosplay. This year leading the parade was god damn medieval times and a slew of other bullshit goosestepping commercials. "Nerds" are now weirdly a minority in their own communities but any time anyone tries to speak up about it someone always pulls out the "Oh, you're just mad because of those so called fake geek girls you think are just wearing skimpy outfits for attention!" which is an entirely different (but also valid) argument. ​TBH being a "nerd" is nothing to be proud of. It's basically synonymous with being a social outcast. It's a good thing that people don't need to be afraid to say "I like this" for fear of being mocked mercilessly. If you need to deal with the influx of new people shitting up the place...so be it. It just means your favorite thing is now doing well financially.

​Well, still. Those awesome frame by frames are really hard to do in an anime with a budget. Still, they could have kept the sweet angles at least. On the bright side, they finally introduced the true hero of the series: Licenseless Rider, Hero of Justice.

The flare is a weapon that does what, 71 damage in 2 seconds now? 83 with afterburn? I think that makes it the weakest weapon in the game now.

It looks the same as every Halloween to me. The "Merasmissions" seem neat at least. I enjoyed the Gun Mettle Contracts.

​Oh dear... I've actually started watching One Piece (Dear god it's the greatest show ever why did no one tell me?) but I'm still in this weird gray area of both loving and hating weabs and the "anime culture" in general. At least as far as it goes here in america. ​It's perfectly okay to like anime and hate the "culture" because there's some toxic shit in there. "Incest and pedophilia are awesome gimme some more of that in anime pls" But yeah One Piece is great. Moby is right and you should watch one Punch Man.
