​The only Resident Evil games I've actually PLAYED are 3 and 5. 3 because it was the only game I had at one point during a very boring summer at a cousin's house, and 5 because I played Co-Op with a friend. I've watched Let's Plays of 1 and 2 very recently because I recently took more interest in the series for some reason. 4 I want to play but I was never really into survival horror games. My experience with how stressful 3 was kinda turned me off of them, but 1 and 2 seem overall a lot chiller, and 5 was basically just an action game, so I figure it's a decent enough time to get into the series, even if 6 did potentially kill it. Mostly though, I'm interested in the lore, so if the gameplay isn't that good I figure I can skip it and look up another LP.

​I think the trick to making it work is the haptic feedback. I don't know how exactly it works but everyone who's got their hands on it says it works to some extent. In the meantime, I got 3 good games (and lost planet 3) from the new humble bundle, but they all play best with a controller... Times like these I really wish I could hibernate. ​Are the resident Evil: Revelations games any good? And which games would I need to have played to understand them if so? I know the plots of 1-3, and 5, but never played 4 or any of the side games like Code Veronica.

As cool as the full body skeleton model looks, the colors aren't really distinct enough to easily tell the teams apart. They're more like a tinted gray than full colors.

Oh was there another new one already? Neat. Just watched episode 2 of the anime. I think I like it even better than the manga, they really kept the comedic timing intact. Only minor gripe is they changed the line the mole guy said to "No way!". The "YOU'VE GOT TO BE SHITTING MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" line just had more punch.

But Metal Bat is cool though.

Witch's cauldrons bubbling, Frankenstein's monsters skin as it's usually portrayed, evil mists, the Wicked Witch of the West, etc. are all green. The green and purple tend to go together along with black and orange as the main Halloween colors, at least around here.

As I recall, the manga has only been on hiatus (more like it's coming out only once a month) since Murata's been helping the anime get off the ground and drawing stuff for it.

One-Punch Man is the best shit. Glad they apparently did his backstory in the first episode rather than like the manga where it's 30 chapters down the line and you don't really give a shit any more.

I have a hard enough time watching GOOD anime to completion so I think I'll pass. That's a bummer though.

Apparently Young Black Jack is him in medical school, from what I read yesterday. ​Maaaaan, I was thinking about watching this because the premise sounded really cool. Is it really that bad? ​About damn time, why was there such a long wait between 11 and this one?

Had a dream I was a detective at the Gotham PD but everybody was gone but me. Wandered around the empty police station and did a bunch of stuff, including pouring hydrofluoric acid on a corpse for some reason. It was all over the floor too, and I kept stepping in it and it'd catch fire and then turn the flames blue a second later. At the end I realize I have this Payday looking clown mask on and I take it off and look down at it, and then I/my character speaks for the first time to say "Oh my god" in what sounds like the Nostalgia Critic's voice and I look up at the mirror and there's...another mask! So my character just repeats "Oh my god" a bunch of times in an increasingly distressed tone as he pulls masks off and there's always another one underneath and then I wake up.

I had a dream I had the flu, and I had to take this medicine and sleep for exactly 25 hours or I would die. It was awful.
