I would imagine, this being the crowd it is, that they're complaining about the fact that their game can't receive reviews if it's only 4 minutes long.

Symmetra looks pretty boring to play as. Tracer looks (and sounds) obnoxious. Maybe it was just a matter of the player being really good vs the other team being really bad but it looks like it's next to impossible to over-extend as Tracer. She has what, three different GTFO buttons if she gets into trouble? Including an "I can dash in, get shot to shit, stick somebody point blank, then rewind back" option. So far Hanzo still looks like he's going to be my favorite.

Buu actually did destroy several solar systems. Along with at least one god, and the entire human race.

It's the 'gans that really did it in in the end. The Sharingan became grade A 100% bullshit fairly soon after introduction (it became Sharingan or bust for the most part). I'm still salty about Lee vs Sasuke and him pulling that "Lel I copy u" nonsense. If the Sharingan had just been left as "I can see things real good, illusions don't work on me so well, and I can follow super speedy stuff with my eyes" it would have been fine. "I can copy any jutsu" was pushing it, but made sense in context (if you can see hand signs you can recreate hand signs. Simples.). And it still let the Byakugan (which was ALSO meant to be a super special rare awesome ability that people would mass murder to obtain) make sense as a thing that exists. As-is, Sharingan was jut Byakugan+ in many ways. Once the Mangekyo Sharingan came in, it was just obnoxious. I don't give a fuck how good your eyes are, they can't make black holes. Why couldn't ANY of the Mangekyo abilities have been something that the guys developed themselves? Little about the plot would have changed had Itachi been able to make Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi as normal (if insanely powerful) Jutsu, except that A.) Sasuke wouldn't have magically been able to Megaman them onto himself by taking Itachi's eyes and B.) The eyes wouldn't have been as much of a focus. Likewise, make Izanagi a unique whatsit only one guy could perform. Too much focus was put on "Here's a buncha cool shit people can do because their genetics are cool" rather than "Here's a buncha cool shit people can do because they're awesome like that". The latter is just much more compelling, and also lets you throw in a few "Story Breaker" powers (like almost everything the Sharingan grants to basically anyone who has it at a certain level) without letting them be replicated down the line. Unique powers stay unique and interesting. The problem with the Rinnegan should be self explanatory. It exists. The end. It should have basically just stayed a legendary thing the ninja's god-figure had until the endgame, if it even showed up them. Naruto became "Weird Eyes: The Manga" starting after the timeskip. It just became "Eye jutsu or go home (or demon foxes I guess)".

Started Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. I'm already enjoying the story more than the original Dead Rising 2. Frank West is just such a lovable sack of dicks. Chuck Greene: "I have to save these people! Oh god...they died..." Frank West: "Hey, look at that! That guy's blowing his brains out with a shotgun! *Snaps pic* FAN-tastic" Chuck: "I have to get to the bottom of this mystery. Lives are at stake." Frank: "I have to get to the bottom of this mystery. This could be my chance to write an article!"

I should've added 'power level scaling', but apparently every current shounen anime/manga is doing that. In Dragon Ball, at least they train to get stronger, and not some bullshit happens and suddenly have powers high enough to punch out God himself (what they do in Naruto). Fairy Tail was literally about bullshit happening and then they get powers to win against the enemy of the month, which is why I stopped reading that and hate anyone that says that it is a good anime/manga. Toriko kinda went the same road, the first chapters they struggle against level 10-50 enemies, then they learn to use their instincts, breath right, eat right, summon Pac-Man to kill a monster that was going to eat all humans, be thankful for their food and now they are like 'Guys check out this level 2000 monster that I keep as a pet!' I just started reading Fairy Tail and it doesn't seem so bad so far. Though it already shows signs of what you're talking about ("Yo here's some gold fire I guess now you're a superman or some shit"). Toriko is very nearly a parody of Shonen power levels. They're entirely meaningless because despite the fact that they're technically more powerful, they still do the exact same moves. Bleach is kinda the same way "Wow, Ichigo is so strong! Dunno how I can tell though since he's using the exact same freaking attack and it doesn't even make a bigger explosion though.".

I dunno about "make Dragon Ball power levels look tame". Even at the end of the series they're MAYBE as powerful as pre-Super Saiyan Goku during the fight with Frieza. And I'm enjoying the sequel so far, though I'm a bit annoyed that both the Akatuski and Sharingan are back, since those were the things that started to make the original spiral downhill after a while. Hopefully all that shit gets dealt with in this first mini-arc or whatever before the actual sequel starts.

Watched this too. It's pretty good. I really enjoy how all the main characters are unrepentant assholes. In the best way.

He might be doing it on purpose. Maybe if he's obnoxious enough they'll stop making him appear.

=( It's not a very complicated game though unless you're trying to 100% it. The optional Masks can get pretty obtuse but for the most part (save the stupid Deku maze thing where you keep getting caught every two freakin' seconds) it's fairly straight forward as far as the dungeons go.

And then I'm over here struggling to build a decent catapult

TIAM IV: Guydiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Cockmongler
Rynjin replied to Raison d'être's topic in General Discussion
They'll get right on that in about 6-8 weeks, but it'll be sloppy and mechanical so you probably won't enjoy it. -
Picking Will Ferrell is also a sin.

Best Poll Round one: Strongarm tactics (xkcd 1529)
Rynjin replied to Binary's topic in General Discussion
That option just called out to me more than the other three. I have no idea why. Because probably like me, you have no clue who Jeff Gordan and Jeff Daniels are, and you're not a fan of Jeff Bridges. Or your weird obsession with Jack names, either one. Also...why isn't everyone voting for Stretch Armstrong again? He's clearly the superior Armstrong with the sad lack of the great Alex Louis. -
It's good to clear this up now, since eventually one of you guys is going to hit 0 HP/be taken into the negatives and it would suck if he killed you off for it.

Yeah...your kick should have dealt nonlethal damage unless you bought Improved Unarmed Strike for some reason. Plus, location based damage isn't a thing. You do the same damage regardless of hitting in the head/chest/left pinky. Your GM fucked up pretty hard it looks like because there is basically no way to take a guy from "Awake" to "Dead" in one attack with nonlethal damage at 1st level. Maybe point out the -Con rule to your GM next session, especially since the guy supposedly had important info.
-
Though I guess the real question is still why are you beating up old people in the first place? And how did you do it accidentally?
-
...How do you accidentally kick someone? Literally the only way to hit someone is to say "I hit that guy". Plus even if you did somehow do it, it should have dealt nonlethal damage, which is HIGHLY unlikely to result in death (you need to deal roughly DOUBLE the damage normally required to kill someone). I think your GM is just fucking with you. Our Barbarian had hit him in the head with a mace just before I kicked him. He did 6, I did 4, guy's HP was 10. Which puts him at 0 HP...meaning he's not even Unconscious yet, much less dead. He's at 0 HP and Staggered, but still able to act (though taking a Standard or Full Round action deals 1 point of damage to him, dropping him to -1). You have to get him to -Con score to actually KILL him, which is probably at least 7, so he's far from dead. I'm pretty sure all editions of D&D share this rule. Unless you're playing 5E and that changed it?

Hi. I vaguely remember your name from Big SPUF. Welcome to the densest collection of nerds on the internet. You may be asking yourself "Why is that in bold"? The answer is: Fuck if I know, for some reason it just decided to do that. I'm not joking. I kinda hate this "upgrade". Though I guess it aiding dramatic effect isn't bad.

AKA the scariest man in all Zelda. Guy has Mario's severed face strapped to his pack.
