There are so many redirect ads in that one link alone that I had to press the back button several times on my phone. Mangapanda's pretty shitty that way, yeah. Mind you I've been reading stuff on Mangatown and it's only SLIGHTLY better. Mangastream is the best for new chapters though.

    Where?

It makes decent enough music for a racing game or something at least.

Likewise I really want to buy the game for PC, but my laptop is probably not good enough to run it.
  6. There's a point where brand loyalty should stop. When a product is objectively inferior in every respect to its competitors, that is the point. iPhones are more costly, less durable, and overall have less functionality than Android phones in every regard. The "new features" the iPhone 6 was hyping up in its commercials had already been built-in features of my Galaxy S3 at the time. That is three iterations of phone the iPhone is lagging behind, at double the price point. There are some thing you can argue a Mac beats a Windows computer in, such as video editing (iMovie is a great video editor, and it's free). The iPhone has NONE of those arguable qualities.

    Game Deals Announcement Thread

Okay maybe I exaggerated when I said I haven't played most of them. I haven't played RE 4, but supposedly it's da bes, so I may pick it up. I played RE 5 on co-op with a friend (split-screen on the Xbox), and it was fun enough, but he said the AI was retarded so I don't really want to re-play it alone. Plus, it'd be weird playing without my super duper hand cannon of fuck you you're dead. I'll stay away from RE 6 as per your recommendation. Devil May Cry 3 is awesome, but I didn't see it on there. Plus I beat THE SHIT out of that game (even on Heaven or Hell mode) on the PS2 already so unless there's new content I'm eh on it. Devil May Cry 4 was also fun, and I was already planning to get the Special Edition (Mostly so I can play as Vergil), but it's not out yet. DmC always looked like the perfect storm of "Solid gameplay ruined by its aesthetic and story" to me, so I don't plan on getting it. Never played Duck Tales on the NES. What's it play like? Beat Dead Rising 2 on Xbox 360, but it was fun. Was contemplating getting Off The Record anyway. Especially if someone here would play it with me. Dead Rising 3 I really wanted to get, but from the reviews of it it needs a really good computer to run, and I do not have one. I've never played a Street Fighter game. How noob unfriendly is it? Scratching Dark Void off the list, sounds like a hassle. Played about an hour of Lost Planet 2 after I borrowed it from a friend, was not super impressed. Bionic Commando sounded interesting but I remember it getting SLAMMED in reviews when it frst came out, so it's about the bottom of my list for games to get from that bundle. Thanks for the info.

Any of the games on the Capcom sale worth getting? I haven't played most of them.
  9. Recently bought some Hefty brand Green Apple scented trash bags. These are the most delicious smelling pieces of plastic ever created. My trash can smells like it's full of green Jolly Ranchers.
  10. Thankfully it was Harry Potter AND Pokemon. We wouldn't want you talking like a 4Kids dub.
  11. The funny part is it's exactly at book 4 where shit starts to get really real for real in the Harry Potter series. I'd recommend giving it a revisit. It was a book series meant to "grow with" the reader when Rowling was writing it. So book 1 is for 12 year olds, book 2 is for 13 year olds, book 3 is fr 14 year olds, etc. Book 4's ending onward constitutes a MASSIVE tonal shift in the series. Books 1-3 has a creepy teacher, a bigass snake, and some admittedly creepy flying ghosts that suck out your soul and leave you braindead for the rest of your natural lifespan as its most recognizable villains.. Book 4's villain is a bit more nebulous. Book 5's villain is fucking beauracracy itself, and books 6 and 7 are basically just "Wizard Hitler has come to ruin your day as much as humanly possible, and then some."

Main character looks like a pimp. I might get it. Been a while since I've played one, and the setting seems like it might be interesting at least.

Right, but as her powers are written she can't go "Hurr durr all the mutants in the world lost their powers simultaneously"...except that's exactly what she did. And they were further limited to being projectile based, requiring line of sight, and a bunch of other junk to function (and weren't reliable). Her powers might have been vague and more powerful than she likely used them before, but they were a somewhat REASONABLE sort of powerful and vaguely defined. Moral of the story is: Retconning an existing character's powers to some nebulously defined reality warping ability is a bad idea.

Most superheroes' powers are well defined to a certain extent. Spiderman can do whatever a spider can. And has limited precognition (spider sense). The exact DEGREES of his powers may fluctuate (one writer thinks he can lift 10 tons, another thinks 8, another thinks 20...), but the powers themselves stay roughly the same. Apply that to most superheroes and it fits well. Scarlet Witch was a probability manipulator. She could make dice always roll 12, or someone walk through a doorway coincidentally at the same time a marching band walks by to block their way. But it had to be something that could conceivably happen. If they were in New York, she couldn't make the subway run all the way to Hong Kong somehow. Until some writer got it into their head that "probability manipulation" means "she can rewrite reality to whatever she wants, whenever she wants".

The majority of people I've talked to are GLAD Scarlet Witch's powers were changed. They're some of the most inconsistent story destroying powers ever thought up in the comics.
  16. One of our running gags - blame Ikea Boy (also known as DurDen) for everything. No, I don't get it either. Way back in the day, when the SPUF Highlander team was a thing, Ikea Boy was a member. Every time we lost it was 100% totally his fault. Even when he didn't play. And now you know. And knowing is half the battle. Which Ikea Boy made us lose. God dammit Ikea Boy.
  17. Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous. What was the point of IPV "updating" if it was really a downgrade?

I feel like you watched Avengers 2 after not watching the rest of the movies leading up to it because the movies have never pretended to follow the comics
  19. Next up on old articles that are new to me theater: "The headline tells the whole story. I don't know where to go from here."

I'm sure these aren't at all related. They weren't. You were just dead IRL and I was really sad. Most of the dreams I remember are kinda depressing.
  21. I enjoy the fact that we have multiple people each from several different countries here so we can all be (roughly) equally confused when stuff about politic comes up.

Finished Shadow of Mordor. Good game. Final boss being a short quicktime event was incredibly disappointing. And that motherfucker I've killed 7 times now showing up as my Nemesis before the Tower had me twitching.

Had two not very pleasant dreams. In one, Cube had died, and in the other I was in prison for 6 months in a jail where the sentence was served entirely on a bus. And you had to pay for your meals.
