Finished up the Parasyte anime. Good as I remember the manga being. Recommend it to anyone who likes good things. Still surprised that, of all the manga it could possibly have had, my public library when I was in high school had that and the entirety of The Getbackers (that was released at that point) instead of a lot of the more mainstream stuff. Not that I'm complaining, both were great.

Finally broke down and bought Shadow of Mordor. Loving it so far. All the best elements of Assassin's Creed and the Arkham games with fun LotR lore. Enjoying the Nemesis system, though so far my only real "OH GOD WHY" moment was when some guy with the Tracker trait kept stalking me, showed up out of nowhere on two separate occasions before I finally killed him. Had to end my session a minute ago because a wall decided to become partially intangible and trap me inside. Had a bit of a scare when I first bought it because I booted it up, played the tutorial, and the framerate was so low it was unplayable. I was like "Oh god no, is my computer just too bad?" And then I realized I hadn't updated my drivers in months and all was well.

I have a (rarely) recurring dream where I can glide on air while walking or running. Like, invisible skates or something. And just step on air wherever it's convenient. Step of the top of stairs, stay at that height sort of thing. It always gives me such a great feeling. I'm happy for hours after one.

Yeah. I don't think I even HAVE a good picture of myself. Much less one for Facebook. Everybody on my Facebook friend list I know personally, so I never saw the need to post a real picture. It was just blank until some time 2 years ago somebody commented on it so I just took my subSPUF avatar of the time.

The Dwarves, by Markus Heitz is the best of the batch of books I finished most recently. Traditional enough to feel familiar, but different enough to keep it interesting, and each dwarf has a distinct personality, which I don't think any writer in the history of ever has managed to do. I can tell the twins, Boendal and Boindil apart, and never get them confused even though their names are so similar/ The same can not be said for the dwarves from, say, the Hobbit. Or everything else. Picked up one of the sequels (along with the first two books of Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives) today, so we'll see how that goes.

Snake pls Snake was so fun. He had an actually unique playstyle and flow to him with the CQC/Explosives dynamic.

I did this with nukes. Doubt anybody would let me do it on the server though because it made the game unplayable. Was fun though.

I think you're glossing over the part where it lagged like a bitch even when the server only had like two people on it. Though I did like my house of Basalt bricks or whatever.

That idea came waaay late in the game, and was very much "too little, too late". Everybody had already been scared away.
