I thought the episode as a whole was as decent as it could be since it primarily involved the hospital people, who I could not possibly give less of a fuck about and hope never show up again. If it hadn't been for Beth going full retard at the end, it would have been perfectly average IMO.

Just read it. Not seeing what's wrong. It pretty effectively shows the sheer power and speed of this creature. I remember the manga being like this fairly regularly. Every now and then there's a chapter that covers a fairly short span of time to make a point, and others where way too much happens in one chapter. Just how the guy likes writing it, I guess.

From that write-up it sounds like you might like History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi as well. It has much the same premise (bullied kid starts training in martial arts under great masters and works his way up toward hopefully, one day, becoming a master himself) and has a similar formula and progression (training, at first simply exercising and building up strength, then simple techniques, then more complex stuff as the series progresses, with each training mini-arc culminating in some sort of battle). The number of martial arts presented in the series is really varied, with the main four (which Kenichi learns) being Muay Thai, Karate, Chinese Kenpo/Kung Fu, and Jujutsu (there's also a weapon master, Shigure who he learns some basic self defense against weapons from among other...states of mind? I guess rather than techniques, and the Elder who teaches him, eh...stuff.). I just finished marathoning the whole manga a few days ago and enjoyed it a ton. Sadly the anime only has 50 episodes, and covers what is probably the weakest arc since the stakes are relatively low and for the most part Kenichi doesn't know a whole lot about martial arts through it, but IIRC the OVAs go a bit farther and are still being released over time (4 and 5 came out September this year I believe).

Man Dragon Age: Inquisition looks great it's too bad it freezes on the goddamn main menu after 30 seconds or so (this is apparently a common issue on PC). You'd THINK that would be the first thing they'd check and see if it works. The game itself looks nice and runs well when I manage to move fast enough to get past the menu.

Plus half the time you probably have some "Every 3 months come and get a free oil change and check up and all that good shit" thing at your dealer.

I meant to post thi yesterday but I still remember it so anyway I had a couple of dreams the other night that were kinda weird but fun. In one I was the king of some ant colony or something. I was still human. Talked to a little ant queen, delegated responsibilities since you know I couldn't exactly fit into the throne room. At some point the ants morphedinto little people like the Burrowers or something so I guess they were shapeshifting ants. Just kind of pleasant. In the other I teamed up with Spiderman to fight some guy and we kicked the shit out of him, but didn't hurt him. So we kicked the shit out of him some more, and he exploded. Apparently he absorbed the kinetic force of a thousand super punches and just detonated, destroying New York. Not quite as peasant, but maybe was going to have a happy ending because there was something about maybe time traveling back to stop ourselves from kicking the shit out of the guy quite so hard and then my alarm went off. Ah well. I remember the two were connected somehow but I cannot for the life of me remember how I go from "I AM THE KING OF TINY CITY" to "Hey Spider-Man, let's inadvertently kill millions of people!"

AMD doesn't seem to have the same options in the "Catalyst Control Center". "App settings" isn't even a thing, though I'm pretty sure I don't have a separate dedicated graphics card, so that wasn't an issue. I hope. I got it to some semblance of a working order I think. Dropped resolution to 1024X768 and it was at least PLAYABLE now unlike at 1360x768. I bumped the texture memory size up a bit so hopefully it stops looking like garbage (Witcher 2 on minimal settings looks signifciantly worse than Witcher 1, apparently. Higher highs and lower lows?), we'll see how it goes now.
