If you say so. I can't really think of a franchise Microsoft has taken over and then "dumbed down/over hyped" besides Banjo-Kazooie. Halo 4 was good. It's the only other big franchise they've taken over that I know of.

We did, as a community, decide waaaaaay back we didn't want word filters. As far as I know, no new consensus was reached. Not much point in voting on something if you're just going to do it anyway.

Stuff like this: Is what tells me that. If you're going to criticize, at least use ones that make sense, considering I've never seen an in-game ad of any sort.

I thought of a game that maybe exists already. Pathfinder, and other TRPGs.

HunterxHunter is known for long hiatus out of nowhere. What most bothered me watching reading it, its how long it takes for a fight to happen. Really, I watched the anime until the last released episode ( ), then I decided to read the manga, which was 30-ish chapters ahead. There wasnt a single fight, only chatting chatting chatting what we gonna do plans plans plans Gin and the fucking Rat dispute. The manga as a whole really isn't big on fighting constantly (bar the Chimera Ants arc), which is honestly part of the reason I like it. You look at stuff like Naruto or Bleach and it's just a constant barrage of fightfightfight here, have another pseudo-tournament one-on-one match-up between your favorite heroes and some villains, now have some more fighting oh shit we forgot to add a plot here's a bad guy now he wants to be evil and stuff okay good back to fights. While Gon enjoys fighting, he's not constantly looking for one like many Shonen protagonists (including Yusuke), and the manga often gives you a chance to breathe, get to know some of the characters better (it's interesting seeing what Ging is like after 300 chapters of tracking the fucker down being the main driving force of the series), and after a while tosses some fights at you. Which I think are better after the wait, especially since generally there's some unique wrinkle to the fight that makes it interesting to watch ( ) rather than just punchpunchkicksecrettechniquedone. The hiatuses are generally because the author is doing the manga by himself (story, drawing, inking, etc. all done by him) so any disruption in his life or injury stops the manga in its tracks. IIRC this current one is because he broke his hand.

Started watching the 2011 HunterxHunter anime with my brother. Breddy gud. Apparently 148 ends it, which is sad. I guess it's a good a spot as any to end it (when reading the manga my first thought was "So, the series could end now and I think I'd be fine with it"), especially since they're basically like 8 chapters behind the manga at this point since the author has been taking several month hiatuses fro various reasons, but still disappointing. Maybe when he picks up the pace again they'll make more episodes. I really like this manga, and that guy is definitely my favorite manga author (in the sense that he's the only one I know of that's made 2 successful series I enjoy) now. Both HunterxHunter and Yu Yu Hakusho are stellar.

I liked this one. A bit predictable in spots, but great fun. Would've liked a little more concrete planning/Ocean's Eleven action going on, but fun nevertheless.

Critical failures are the dumbest shit in existence. If I used them in Pathfinder the whole party would be maimed or dead before the end. Your average badass swordsman has a 95% chance of hitting a training dummy. And a 5% chance of accidentally beheading himself or some shit. It's dumb.

Battlefield:Bad Company 2's progression was good. Many things were sidegrades and new options, or advantages like better scopes and so on, rather than CoD's "You gits a gooder gun now, pwn n00bs 420".

All of these characters look a lot more fun to play than the BL2 ones. I thought the main downside of BL2 was that none of the characters had a fun action skill, that you could really build around like in the first game (bar Krieg), but these guys all look really fun, especially Wilhelm.

Apparently he is quite a bit better now. His Warlock Punch has full superframes (ergo doesn't get cancelled when you get hit) which is p sick Sweet.

Somehow I forgot about the Terrible Shotgun which is weird because I used it constantly. Awesome gun.

Favorites? Fallout 3: A3-21's Plasma Rifle is where it's at. Honorable mention goes to the Lincoln Repeater and Gauss Rifle. New Vegas: THUMP-THUMP. THUMPITY THUMP THUMP MOTHERFUCKER BOOM BOOM Honorable mention goes to Pushy.

Ganondorf was pretty garbage in Brawl so I hope they at least reverted him to his Melee status as being slower than Falcon but stronger, instead of ludicrously strong but so slow anybody with a pulse will never be touched.

Seems rather odd that there's still room for five more characters. Only explanation I can think of for a character select screen like that is DLC. IIRC they DID say there might be DLC.
