IMO the first bit is only tangentially relevant, and the second two are quite reasonable. Releasing the officer's identity, given the public's current state of rioting and lawlessness, would probably doom him and his whole family to death. The tear gas and riot gear is 100% justified. When "protesters" are breaking into random stores, stealing shit, and BURNING THEM DOWN in the name of "justice", it's time for harsher measures. The last is pretty effed though.

I was at an Irish pub sorta place and they had the news playing on one channel and it was just clips of Robin Williams and people talking about how awesome he was for almost two hours (interspersed with the story about some kid attacking a police officer and getting killed). Stop me, I'm feeling too many things. =(

It's been this way for a while now but I just remembered to post it because I don't browse on my phone a lot.

Mobile version is even more terrible now and when I hit the "Use Full Version" button it doesn't do anything.

That's because it's a new engine so they actually did a complete graphical overhaul. No I mean like gameplay wise. There's like double jumps and quick dashes, it looks a lot more mobile than the standard CoD camping nonsense, the killstreaks seem rebalanced (you actually need to manually control them all too, instead of going like "Man I have a helicopter, time to hide like a bitch and kill the survivors")...it actually looks like a good GAME. Apparently it's a new dev, which is neat.

So is it just me, or does CoD: Advanced Warfare actually look good?

The Splendid Screen A documentary about the history of film, and the lives of actors and actresses on and off the screen. A must see picture for all 5 people who are interested in seeing another movie about this subject matter.

So I just finished season 2 and ehhhhhhh. Actually the results of the finale kinda pissed me off. Season 3 worth watching? I watched the premiere episode and while interesting, it didn't 100% grab me. Though I like prison dudebro guy person. Does it get better further in? I'll probably watch it eventually either way for completion's sake, but I may drop it down my queue a bit if not.

I don't know that anybody hates EC (or at least I don't). I just hate the people who go "EC DID AN EPISODE ON THIS THAT MEANS I WIN IF YOU DISAGREE WITH EC YOU ARE WRONG AND DUMB SUCK IT". And there are a lot of those people.

Well, you've got the ability to choke people out, and also Sleep Darts which are cool. Also, you don't need to 100% avoid killing for the good end. You can kill a fair few people. You just can't kill all the guards everywhere.

Yeah, the only jump scare that really works in the whole series is that one from Infinite. You know the one.

I don't even remember the rules any more. It could be fun to play some time though. Where's this YGOPro thing?

I filled up that entire stairwell down to the basement/underground part of Tenpenny Tower with mines of all shapes and sizes (since it's right below your balcony), jumped off, and shot the MIRV at my feet. I went so high all I could see was green grid lines and black space. You can't top that shit.

Which is sad. Most of the Zombie cards are pretty cool.

I'm fairly sure Pyramid Turtle was in my No Strategy Monster Fighting deck along with the Spooky Scary Skeleton king. I still have it laying around somewhere. I don't ever get rid of ANYTHING. My brother does though. I seem to be missing some, and see some cards in here I don't recognize. Note: I have no idea if this deck was actually any good (or even put together right according to the rules...) but all the cards looked cool so yeah. I used to have a Yu-Gi-Oh deck based on all undead themed cards. It seemed to work alright. Pyramid Turtle best turtle.

The basic F2P MODEL is fine. The game is free, nice little extras cost money. Maybe the occasional "Double EXP" or "Increased Drop rate" item as well, but the most important thing is that all of the game affecting content is both free and reasonable to obtain (if you can pay $2.99 for a sword, but that same sword requires grinding some ludicrous boss with even more ludicrously low drop rates, that's not what I call reasonable). However, just like with any good idea, greedy fuckers try and be greedy all over it.
