Personally I dislike quote pyramids for the most part.

The first 3 I wholly agree with, but the last brings a bit more trouble. I also agree with it, but then General Gaming ends up being the only forum in its section. We should then remove some clutter by moving General Gaming to the General Forums topic, but then that feels weird IMO because games are such a huge topic in this forum based on a forum based on games. This is what I suggested a week or so ago before the last change was made. I still stand by it (though AMAs under Forum Games is a bit odd).

Right. Pretty much everyone seems on board with making the various "big games" into sub-forums, which would accomplish much the same purpose (less front page clutter) without any of the annoyances. Just not this.

Well, the spin-up time is still .87 seconds, but for a second after spinning up his accuracy is decreased, and for a second after FIRING his damage is decreased still. Unless I misunderstood it.

It gives me an "Outdated server!" error now, since apparently you're still on 1.7.2. How do I fix that (like do I have to roll back to an older pdate? If so, how do?)? I dun Minecraft much.

It was 7 kills + assists, not 7 assists. Ohhhhhhhh, gotcha. I need to git gud then. And 9 is iffy. 10 might be better. I'm cooking dinner now so I'd be cutting it kinda close with eating and whatnot. 9:30 even would be a lot better.

7 assists + 3 kills = 10/21 = close enough to half to make no nevermind. And 6's is good too. I prefer Highlander but that may be because I have more experience with it. I'd like to play a few more 6's matches to get a better feel for it.

Eh, that's significantly contributing to half of your deaths, so I'm fine with that performance myself. I'd never even heard of 4v4 before this. I didn't really like it all that much as a format, especially not when it was one of my least favorite game modes (King of the Hill) on one of my least favorite maps for that game mode (Viaduct...mostly because I get Eyeaduct flashbacks whenever I play on it). I still think if we had enough people 7's would be fun. It plays almost exactly like 6's but you have a free "utility slot" if you want to run a Sniper or Engineer or summat.

And 7 assists (unless I'm reading that wrong). But like I said, it was fun. We should do it again, preferably better organized next time than "11:30 sudden Comp Friendlies go!".

Ermmm...I killed you quite a few times. Besides that first round (which you started without asking anyone if they were ready, so we were all scrambling to get back to our desks/back in the game/etc.), our points were pretty close with whoever those other guys were. Especially once you stopped running the damn Heavy, and I got my bearings enough not to get killed by Corv every few seconds (IIRC besides the illegal Heavy killing me a couple of times, and Icecubes, Corv was the only person who killed me). But we can rematch some time if you want.

TIL pl_Pier is way too fucking long. Also I really suck after not playing for so long.
