I had a dream last night I was fighting my way up some vaguely defined tournament/battle/thing and gaining all sorts of weapons and my "final exam" was a kung fu battle against Renamon for a pair of wooden hand coverings with her face on the right hand and a bunny rabbit (complete with pointy ears to make it deadly!) on the left. Alas, my alarm went off right in the middle of it.

The issue isn't the viability, the issue is whether we really want dick moves in a friendly game with a bunch of people, at least some of whom have never played or haven't played much. In a game with 12 civs and 250 (I think that's the max?) turns, getting knocked out of this thing we've spent a week trying to get together in the early rounds will suuuuck.

That was my thought. Nothing that's likely to be more annoying than some guy who builds 10 Scouts and then decimates the guy trying to build his Culture on round 35 or whatever.

Maybe if it crashes again we should just do some smaller games. That'd still be fun. Also, if we do get it working (which I hope we do), should we lay down some ground rules?

MMhmm. To clarify, I don't care if you watch it. I watch some pretty bad "Popcorn show" type stuff too and enjoy it. Just giving the perspective of someone who doesn't fall all over the cutesy stuff like that. Not sure if Corv likes the cute stuff, but only with substance, or if he just likes cute stuff. Though I'm glad to hear it didn't do that well. I've heard a lot of people talking about it but what I saw of it was p-bad. Must be a vocal minority.
