. I have no illusions about this place becoming some huge popular forum, but if nothing else you can say we've had longevity. If you show up, post, and stick around, peoplewill do the same with you. Invite more if you like, we're well past our "exclusive club" phase. Though nobody gets to see the old SPUFlumihati sub-forum.

I mean, if you post more on the weekend, the weekend activity will increase. We're more active right now than usual, so if you expect a big upswing, I probably wouldn't. We've NEVER had as many members as even just the TF2 SPUF. We have 258 members but a lot of those accounts are inactive. I think the more accurate number is around 40 now.

Pretty good description, actually. It's goofy, over the top, and everyone in it is a larger than life caricature of a real person. And it's great.

I don't believe we've ever advertised as some kind of safe space or somewhere that censors other people. I get enough of that kind of moderation on the Paizo forums (where every vaguely controversial statement from "I don't like this product you made" to "You know I think that feminist rally got kind of out of hand" is scrubbed and all responses to it are likewise scrubbed), and have no desire to carry it over to here. We don't make a habit of removing posts unless they're extremely offensive (intense gore/shock imagery or porn outside the designated private subforum) or are clearly flamebait/trolling or otherwise likely to spiral way out of control. This is not either scenario. With the influx of new members, forum rules/guidelines may need to be updated to make this clearer. Raison had his say, everybody dogpiled him, pretty much, we all learned things about each other, and we went back to memeing and playing vidya together the next day. Everybody got their say, and I feel like there are less hard feelings than if discussion had been shut down altogether.

Black Lagoon is real good. It's not much of a spoiler to say "Revy had a hard life" but it's...uh, it's probably worse than you think. Her backstory isn't the "payoff" of the series in any sense though. Only new/ongoing anime I've been keeping up with are Boku no Hero and Tiger Mask W. Been blitzing Hajime no Ippo though, and it's super fun.

If you want a second mod opinion, I also agree with Raz. And I was the main one arguing with Raison before. If you have something concrete to add to this thread, please do. As far as I'm concerned the discussion about nationalism/ethnocentricity with Raison is done, however. Not saying you can't disagree with any opinion espoused by any member of this thread (or others), and it would be hypocritical of me to say you must disagree POLITELY, but do so coherently and specifically.

While I agree this is retarded, the Special Edition seems way better optimized than OG Skyrim to me. Oldrim chugged pretty heavily on my computer when heavily modded, SE does not. It looks nicer, it runs better, and it more properly makes use of your system specs (being a 4 bit program instead of 32)...not seeing where "unoptimized" comes in.

I, for one, would be down for some Dark Souls 3 PvP. I have Dark Souls 2 but haven't PvPd much there. I have a PvP ready character for 3.

Edited title to reflect our new, post-SPUF reality. I will miss the place. It was my first real online community, excepting the short time I spent on a Kingdom Hearts forum when I was 13 or whatever. I liked knowing it existed, even though I'd drift in and out and never really contribute anything useful. I mean, basically all of my friends for a long time came from there. It pains me to realize I'll never call someone a madbad who can't WASD again. Rest in Peace, SPUF.
