I had a dream I stole a magic statue from some museum and some guy wanted it back. But I used it to make a Portal Gun type thing that can open portals and/or teleport people directly to certain coordinates by zapping them with a purple laser. T'was pretty cool.

Somebody gifted me a copy of The Ship a while back to play with you guys on SPUF Gaming Nights, and I never got to even try it. So that.
-
I'd play it.

I desperately want an animation of the Macho Man bit. Preferably one that involves Randy Savage actually fighting the Four Horsemen.

Battlestar Galactica is the single most overrated thing in existence. You may enjoy it, because it's not BAD per se, but t's not guaranteed. The Matrix is the second most overrated thing in existence. The first one's pretty good, but it moves so. Damn. SLOOOOOOW. Until you get about an hour and a half into it very little actually happens to further the plot in any significant way. First Godfather movies is great, haven't seen the others but I hear they're not so good. Star Trek is really something you might only get into if you grew up with it. My mom's a Trekkie so I grew up watching from The Next Generation onward, and there is some really good shit in there, but I dunno how someone would react to the effects (though I still think they're pretty good for something that came out when it did...), some of the plots, and Whoopi Goldberg without my nostalgia goggles. If you liked Avatar: The Last Airbender, you will probably like Korra. Be warned: The finale is made of asspull. But it kinda gets a little leeway because they thought they only had 13 episodes PERIOD before they got renewed for a second season because of the (shock of all shocks for a sequel to one of the most popular kid's shows ever...) massive popularity. And seriously? You haven't seen THE WIZARD OF OZ? That's like telling someone you've never seen an episode of Looney Toons, how does this happen?

I'm cool with anything I have. Except L4D2. I kinda wanna play Board Game Online this week though. Been a while since I played that. -
I still don't like Ross. I dunno, I just don't find him funny at all.

The return of the revenge of gaming nights part II episode 4.

All of these sound good, except I'd have to bow out of BL2's new DLC since I'm playing with a friend and I dun wanna do it without him. -
Who's the new guy, exactly? And TBH I'd rather see new JonTrons on a regular basis than Game Grumps. It's gotten to where I rarely laugh at them any more.

There's quite a few gameplay differences between them, from what I can tell. The main one being that Infamous is, as you said, "Superhero GTA", whereas Prototype is more of a "Sandbox Kill-'Em-All" sort of game. Where as Infamous is GTA with powers, Prototype is "Hulk, Ultimate Destruction" with a different character. Even if they are very similar (which I'm still not convinced they are, particularly) I loved the hell out of Prototype so I'd enjoy it regardless.
-
They're really not.
-
Halo 4 actually has the most balanced multiplayer so far, so if you don't give a damn about the story, grab that one. As for the OP, the Infamous games.
-
Then why are you here? Numbers are kinda important when talking game balance, they show a lot of things. Because even "Top level" Engies are usually terrible at their class. They're either bad because it's a brainless class in general or bad because the team needs one but they hardly ever play it. I know this because you're speaking as if the Engineer is going to be dumb enough to literally drop it right in front of someone and hope they don't get killed. And yeah I know you won't be able to reply, whatever.
-
Realistically, it's at least 250 HP. The problem isn't with lolbad Engies who drop the mini and then sit in a corner with their thumb up their ass. It's with Engies who have rudimentary Shotgun aim which can deal a very realistic 100+ DPS (assuming he can hit at LEAST 30 damage a shot with the Shotty), 48 of which comes from a target in a completely different direction, which tracks targets on its own and doesn't miss. The problem being it takes a bare minimum of skill to achieve this fairly significant damage output and threat potential. Even 60 damage a shot (which bumps it up to ~170 DPS, just 10 below that of the average Soldier DPS assuming he gets two direct hits at mid range) isn't that difficult to achieve either.

The Dash of Destruction game was actually pretty fun. The Halo 3 Gamefuel was shit though. Tasted like pure syrup.

Having him be viable on the front lines is one thing. I'm fine with that. But Soldier is THE combat class. More than Demoman, more than Heavy, even more than Scout (the 1v1 king) the Soldier is built for combat. The Minisentry lets the Engineer effectively match THAT in damage output and survivability, if not mobility, with the added bonus of effectively shutting down OTHER CLASS' mobility. That's an issue. I'm fine with him beating Scout/Pyro (though a bit less "Auto-win via 4+1+m1" is needed, and would still be fixed by the 30 HP on spawn fix). He's their classic counter anyway. I'm fine with him beating a Heavy if he gets the drop on him, since Heavies are weak to ambushes. I'm even fine with him being able to tangle with Demomen, since he gives up a lot of his straight up POWER to mitigate his newfound resistance to his counter. But the one class in the game known for and DEFINED BY his stellar combat ability and potential DM mastery, matched by, even at a slight disadvantage to (since he has to split his focus) a souped up Defense/Support class? That's an indicator SOMETHING is wonky.
-
They better still have Marth though. I random character a lot of the time but Marth is mah boi.
-
But it's not. But I've run the math and made my arguments hundreds of times at this point and I'm not willing to do so AGAIN because people refuse to listen to said arguments, most (like Raison) countering with "But it's like totally a bad item".
-
The damage isn't the issue, or anything like that. As I said, it's the spammability and surprising level of resilience. Deploying with 30 HP isn't a big nerf...but it fixes SOOOOOO many problems with it.
-
Lol. Melee range on an aimbot with an Engie near it. Have fun with that.
-
This, of course, relies on the Engineer being surprised by someone running directly at him. I.e. it relies on the Engie being bad, since most enemies will run directly at people to fight them. You're also implying, for some reason, that you can oneshot a Mini with the Scattergun. But you can't though.
-
It's not a matter of being capable of destroying them. It's a matter of if the Engineer using them is even halfway competent aiming his Shotgun, he's got a solid chance of beating a similarly skilled Soldier in a straight up fight, either through the Solly focusing on the Minis and being killed by Shotgun blasts or the Solly focusing on the Engie, getting hit by Shotgun blasts, and then being finished off by a Mini. The Engineer should not be able to go toe to toe with one of the top combat classes so easily.
