    Yeah, especially the first gen pokes are freakin' tiny. I'd give Charizard and Blastoise at least 3 meters. 1,50cm for Swampert isn't that small if you imagine him walking like a gorilla,which he does in most games.

     

    But fuck the canon, to me Furret will always be the cuddly living scarf pokemon

     

    Ehh, I'm guessing if you unslouched Swampert's back he'd still barely be 5'2.

    Admittedly, the difference between Charizard and Blastoise seems fair enough, shown by this picture.

    It is actually bigger than Goddamn Charizard but I can't find the comparison image. I always imagined Furret to be the perfect size to wrap around your neck like a living, cuddly scarf

     

    It's true. I guess the developers thought it would be funny to put in 100 useless EVs.

     

    As for Furret being enormous, let's destroy even more perspectives on Pokemon height. This might be the comparison image you're looking for..

    Think Charizard is a fucking enormous 10-foot tall dragon of mass destruction? Maybe Blastoise is a 8-foot motherfucking tank of pure badass? And Venusaur is a short fat bastard that we all love? Well according to the Pokedex....

     

    Charizard is 5'7(170cm)

    Blastoise is 5'3(160cm)

    Venusaur is 6'7(200cm)

     

    And of course, the Regi's must be pure badass. I mean, they're goddamn golems, they have to be huge, right? Probably all 8 feet tall.

     

    Regirock is 5'7(170cm)

    Regice is 5'11(180cm)

    Registeel is 6'3(190cm)

     

    BONUS: Swampert is 4'11. Your average 5th grade is taller than a mudfish that summons earthquakes and shit water.

     

    Keep in mind the average adult human male is 5'8 and the average adult human woman is 5'4.

    That's not correct. The Pokemon in the Emerald Battle Frontier all have legal movesets/IVs/EVs. The only one that doesn't is Lucy's Shuckle, having 100 extra SPA EVs.

    On another note, the other day I tried beating Clair's gym in Stadium 2.

    Wasnt it confirmed that AI during battles cheats on any game?

    So, my brother has decided to give me his PS2, for reasons he didn't specify, and that came with a controller, memory card and all his games.

     

    Unfortunately, all of games he has are shit sports games I have no interest in playing whatsoever. Knowing that the PS2 has an incredibly impressive library, I'd like to hear what games you guys may have enjoyed or think I would like for the PS2.

     

    Just no sports/racing/shit-tier games, please.

    After clearing my head up, I've decided to look over what I've lost, and found almost everything but the time spent to be replaceable. I did manage to clone a few of my Frontier Pokemon to Ruby, and several of my event Pokemon are in a friends cartridge, so the really important mons are still there. However, even then, there are still some Pokemon that need to be replaced.

     

    Tyranitar

    Dragonite(maybe not due to Salamence)

    Blaziken

    Suicune

    Slaking

    Heracross

    Several RNG'd Pokemon that were incredibly nice to look at.

     

    As for the Frontier medals, my other copy of Emerald that I never really used has silver in the Dome, Pike and Pyramid. I have my work cut out for me indeed, and I don't think I'll be able to get gold in the Palace or Factory again.

     

    It's all but irreplaceable, how much time it will take to replace it is another matter.

    Thanks to the magic of Pokemon streams(and that the 3DS saves to the cartridge and not the SD card), I now have access to a Ditto safari. If you need any specific IV/IVs, just post em and I'll see if I have one/can catch one.

     

    In other news, I currently debating what I want to use to set up hazards. Smeargle for it's versatility, or Tyrantrum for how bulky it is.                                                                                                

     

    Mind if I grab an Adamant and Jolly one, both with x/31/31/x/31/31 stats?

    I finally got around to re-finishing Pokemon Y. I've added all the people listed in Buddha's post from awhile ago.

    EDIT: According to Buddha, my Friend Safari is Fairy with Mawile and Snubbull.

    So, is it just me, or does the Battle Maison more and more seem like a step back from the Battle Subway? The AI seems to be a lot worse. It's really noticeable in doubles, where opponents will occasionally inflict status on their own Pokemon, even if the Pokemon doesn't have Guts/Quick Feet/Magic Guard. In one battle, an opposing Weezing attempted Will O Wisp the Frosslass on his own side, even though I had already burned that Pokemon. In addition, it seems like the reliance on hax has gone though the roof. I swear it has a 70% crit ratio. I don't think BW/BW2 were like this.

     

     

    Aye, stupid AI is nothing special with these guys. For another example of stupid AI in the Battle Facilities, in R/S Battle Tower, if a Pokemon has Explosion, it will almost ALWAYS use Explosion, even if the opponent's Pokemon wouldn't be damaged by it. I distinctly remember one battle in the Tower with a guy who had the 3 Regi's. I switched out to Gengar and they all used Explosion as their first move each.

    Shit like that ended up making me get a streak of 273 in the R/S Tower.
