Why should the new Bond be white? They are not picking the actor because he is black; they're picking him because he is (presumably) a talented actor who can play the part of a James Bond character. I do think it's prejudiced to assume that his candidacy is an attempt to "turn race drama into a money tree," since that implies you don't think a black person can really be like James Bond. It does depend on how you interpret the series, however. If there is one and only one James Bond, then dramatic changes in his appearance will be hard to explain away.
