Yep, that's the same heatsink I have on my CPU, and that's where it should be. Isn't the CPU the square thing just above and to the left of the white connector in the middle of the picture? I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm looking at, though, since the picture's a bit fuzzy.

...Did he attach the heatsink to the fan vent?

What did you do, witty? I walked down a slope, then looked at a cow. Then I lagged out. I don't think it was my fault for once!

I think the server may have accidentally imploded

Steam Forgoes Quality Control Even Further with Early Access

What happens when an honest game dev runs into delays? If people were to cut support, the game would wind up dead in the water. Collateral damage is unavoidable, I'm afraid. -
I just realized I posted the watch dogs video in the entirely wrong thread. gg My friends say that Nintendo won E3. Yes/no/other?

Honestly, this isn't anything new. Beta, Alpha, Pre-Alpha, and even more undeveloped games have been marketed for years. This is simply a place where many of them are collected and, thus, the really awful ones stick out like a sore thumb. That doesn't excuse full releases on Steam that make Big Rigs look like a triple-A masterpiece, of course. I'd like to see some quality control standards at that stage. -

That's probably the best solution I've seen yet. However, it does create the perverse incentive for game devs to slow down development, since they'll wind up getting more money. -

The problem is- how do you give the refunds? Hold the devs liable for the money if the game isn't released. This will make startups wary, since failure to complete a game means debt or bankruptcy. Valve pays the refunds. This hurts them without doing anything to stop the fly-by-night devs. The devs don't get the money until the game is released, so it can be refunded if needed. This completely demolishes the advantages of early access funding. I don't see a clear solution there. -
It also might be a gamerule. I haven't checked. I'd think it would work across all words if that were the case, though.

Apparently the keep-your-inventory-on-death plugin doesn't work in the Nether, which I discovered by presuming that it would still work in the Nether. pls

Does anyone have some jungle saplings I could trade for? I'm not planning to blow up the world with them. Honest.

This game looks pretty interesting. I have an old joystick somewhere but I dunno if it works. Are they planning to add larger ship combat in the future? Y'know, cruisers/battleships with multiple crewmembers, that sort of thing.

I downloaded the free early alpha they put up but never played it. -

My tongue in cheek answer would be to just give up all hope now because you're dealing with Comcast, which is basically made of concentrated malice. Anyhow: If you don't touch the plan and keep it for the full 12 months, then it seems like a reasonable deal.

I think Sunday was the norm for some time, but Thursday is listed on the page. I'd go with Sunday, really.

The central station's skeleton is almost done. I've also built in the rails to launch carts. You can find it at -393, -411. In hindsight it would've made more sense to put this in the spawn
-
It'll be good to have you back! Any interest in doing another nether rail? We had the one on the old server but I've always thought a nether rail network for long distance travel would be cool. I could do a nether rail, although I'll probably be doing overland rails for most transit.

Now that college is finally over I'll be able to hop back on the server! I'll be working on the rail station pretty soon.
