Holy shit, we had this installed on the shitty computer we had in my 5th grade private school class, and at lunch we had a rotation schedule for the computer and we'd mostly play this or the Star Wars RTS. The story was hilariously bad but the gameplay was fun. I'm curious if I can find it online (or even find the old disk, perhaps!)

I'm quite disappointed by how Tribes died. It was superbly fun (although the number of near-hitscan weapons was a bit obnoxious) and worked perfectly well. Then they added the Plasma Cannon nonsense and things started going downhill. Sounds like they could've used a little more QA work!
