A friend of mine is trying to develop a top-down game in Java with some basic RTS functionality. Part of the problem is that nobody knows how to apply a simple highpass filter to the music. That results in the gates of hell being pulled through a speakerphone. [*]Open Audition/Wavepad/Whatever [*]Find the highpass filterand use it to cut down the bass [*]Normalize the music to 35% or so People also have difficulties giving others a turn. It's a tad annoying when someone plays the same song twice in a row without so much as a second's pause between iterations. On an unrelated note, getting rid of votekick sounds good. It aggravates me when I see votekick notifications pop up for no apparent reason.

Agreed. I'm surprised nobody tried to votekick me after I killed the guy trying to cap the point on Hightower four times (and then he capped it on the fifth try).
