If you didn't pick up Sega All Stars Racing Transformed during its free weekend, consider it now. I've honestly had more fun with this than any Mario Kart title. ~We are burning rangers, go!~
-
Aside from Hearthfire, any advice on which Skyrim DLC to pick up? Dawnguard or Dragonborn? Or both?
-
I found the date of when I first played DOTA2; 1 June 2012. Ha, I feel like an old veteran of some kind, yet I still suck as Clockwerk. Go figure. Not sure if anyone was earlier than that. Probably Facade and/or Wulff. I dunno. Also three weeks until the International, and I'm already placing the bets that I can watch more games than the missus. She really wants those mounts and effects for the Smeevil courier, though. Gonna be a challenge. I hope they space the games out a bit more than last year - 12+ straight hours of DOTA is hard to stay awake on (especially when the chinese doto comes around, ohohohoho).

It's a pack, but it still includes the base Skyrim and adds that to the price. There's no option to just get the DLC. Getting them separate works, but they're still not really the discounts you'd expect for a Steam sale. Dragonborn is like 30% or something. Not exactly the Knife of Dunwall deals here.
-
So Legendary Edition is a standalone, apparently. No option to just get the DLC packs nice and easy for an existing copy of Skyrim. Well, that Skyrim DLC will go on offer for a more reasonable price at some point, right? Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure it will. ...It has to, right?
-
I'd also add that it has replay value. You can't do everything in a single playthrough, and there's a number of ways to play the game (Very Hard Mode, Pacifist Run, Ghost Run, Speed Run, No Magic Run, etc.) I've played through it at least four or five times and I'm sure that I still haven't seen everything the game has to offer. That.
-
Was just looking at the base games, didn't check DLCs. As far as I know, most of them are the same discount as their base game. In almost every case, they're worth picking up too (except maybe some of the Dawn of War stuff, which is just cosmetics - make sure to get the best race Tau Commander, at least.) EDIT: Scratch that, Dawn of War II has about six different DLC bundles to cater to your tastes. I almost always play it for Last Stand, so Tau Commander and All Wargear Bundle is a great deal if you like that stuff.
-
Dust: An Elysian Tail is a good deal. Killing Floor is a good deal. Castle Crashers is a good deal. Dishonored is a good deal. Dawn of War II is a good deal. Today is a good deal. Also community vote has Deus Ex HR for 85% off. That's insane. Go vote for it.

Time Fcuk is the bulk of the collection. Pick it up if you like puzzlers.

Fair enough. Anyone who has played Donkey Kong for the Game Boy knows what they're talking about. I hated the ice world so damn much. I'd still say that Fez is worth the current sale price, even if its creator is a total prick, and while it doesn't change the games industry like Phil Fish would like to claim, it's still a very relaxing and joyful game about exploring a strange world. If not, at least the soundtrack is well worth the price. Also Hitman: Absolution got the community choice. Hm, thought everyone didn't like that. Or that Square Enix lost money on or something.
-
Phil Fish is probably a total jerk, but I still like Fez. I can like a product and dislike its maker (i.e. Pendulum make great music, but I've heard they're real assholes.) Yep. Slow day. Tomb Raider is worth a pick up if you like action adventures and such, it's probably one of the best reboots I've seen in a while. Still a tad expensive for people who aren't fond of the genre.

...The hell, did a puzzle platformer kill your dog or something?

...The official website. :duh:

Aaaaaaaaaw yeah. Olimar and his plant bitches are back in town to zerg rush your ass. Good to see one of my favorite characters back. Wondering if they'll change him up a bit with Pikmin 3 and all. You know, rock pikmin and stuff.

I got Dragon Age Origins for about £5, and Steam gave me a Foil Skyrim card. So I sold it on the Steam Market for £5.
-
I know, I gave that advice earlier. :/ Just wondering if 40% (which one can assume is the most it will be discounted by) is worthwhile for Don't Starve, from people who have played it.
-
Don't Starve looks pretty good, but 40% off is not nearly what I expected for a small indie title on the front page of the summer sale on day one. Is it worth it or can I wait a little longer? I want to get it, but it doesn't seem like the best offer around, and I feel it'll drop down more in the near future.
-
The rule of thumb; if it's not a daily deal or flash sale, don't get it. It might be on sale for less later on. On the last day of the sale, buy any of the remainders. For now, Infinite.
-
Bioshock Infinite seems like a fantastic deal, I don't see it budging any lower than 50% for at least half a year (see: Skyrim). Dragon Age Origins is also a good looking deal for £5. Good start to the sale for me.
