Downloaded it, played through a few levels, and can't deny that I was enjoying it all the way. However, Warframe has a lot - and I mean a lot - of free-to-play nickle-and-diming. Basically anything in this game either costs real money (platinum) or a lot of your time and effort to grind up enough credits to substitute. I wanted to unlock Ash for some stealthy fun, but if you're unwilling to pay real money for characters (which you should, by the way, because that's gameplay-affecting content already in the game being denied to you for no more reason than to squeeze dollars out of you) then you need to find the blueprint or buy it after hours of grinding and then find the components or you might need to buy those too and why the ♥♥♥♥ can I not just play Ash and have fun now as opposed to next week? Admittedly, this free-to-play business model is really a pet peeve for me, and not many people hate it (note the word "hate"; this thing has ruined games I would otherwise have loved) as much as me. If you're okay with it, give Warframe a try. I can't deny that sliding down a flight of stairs while slicing two dudes in half wasn't awesome.

Ah, now I understand. Still a bit silly, but that is pretty... cold, I suppose. I would have liked a tinfoil hat instead of a stick, a ball, and some tape.

The robot dangly thing hat looks dumb. Not sure what the drama is about, but these are just another batch of promo hats that I'll never remember by next month.

So hyped for the DLC.

All Mid Fisticuffs. Only the following heroes are allowed: Earthshaker Treant Protector Sand King Lifestealer Night Stalker Undying Ursa Nyx Assassin Dark Seer Other heroes are possibly allowed - and necessary if "allow multiples of the same hero" is disabled - depending on how the party feels on their fisticuffsness: Tiny *Can use a tree if given an Aghanim's Scepter; uses his fists otherwise. Alchemist *Uses his blades during his ultimate; uses his fists otherwise. Lycanthrope *Debatable on whether his sharp claw gauntlets count as "fists". Uses his fists/paws during his ultimate. Lone Druid *Only uses his fists during his ultimate; throws sickles otherwise. Tusk *Only uses his legendary punch as an ultimate; uses an axe otherwise. Probably broken as hell. Probably a little bit fun, at least.

Figured this was relevant enough to do a quick "how good is my rarity" chart. From cheapest to most expensive: Common Uncommon Rare Mythical Legendary Genuine (Kantusa the Script Sword, Wyvernguard Edge, etc) Immortal (Dragonclaw Hook, Timebreaker, that godawful Alpine Ursa set, etc) Ancient (In hushes blown over the cold valleys by a gentle wind, they speak of... the one.)

TF2 blog writers are just below the DOTA bot guy in "those who shall always deliver". Even on today of all days, their posts make me laugh. I cracked up more than I should have.

I do nothing but lose as Undying, so good job. He's a fun hero, I just suck in general. Anyhow, since I now have a copy of Fraps, an external hard drive, and a new computer that can run DOTA on high settings, I can do recording stuff. So we need to do silly inhouses now. That's an order, kids. I want at least six hours of raw footage containing nothing but all-mid Keeper of the Light.

And now, DOTA pros pretending that they are on the character select screen of a fighting game. It pains me to know that I will never be as badass as Pajkatt right there.
