Value of highly sought items seems to be one part availability and two part necessity. Max's Severed Head is worth a month's shopping because it was one of the first promo items (the very first, if I recall) and when trading was implemented, it was assigned as the highest form of currency not just because it was rare, but because the virtual economy needed one anyway. Same goes for the Earbuds and Bill's Hat - notice how these are all items that were released ages ago? There might be less existing copies of Genuine Whale Bone Charms, but they aren't highly sought because we already have the obligatory "super rich $WAGTA$TIC" items for trading purposes. So no, the Linux promo isn't going to fly off the shelves like Earbuds. At least if my economics are sound, which they never are. why the ♥♥♥♥ does nobody want to buy this grillhound courier for 3 keys yet
