I just raised my Win:Lose ratio to a positive; 89 over 88. Okay, it's 1.01:1, but it still counts. IMAWINNER

The first time I've wanted promos in a while.
Skye replied to Cuttlefishes's topic in Team Fortress 2.5
This is a great all-class hat, especially on Scout and Spy as people have said. The rubber duck items are cute and adorable, the duck watch is ridiculous and somehow cool, the police hat for Soldier is awesome as I can now be a proper London bobby with it, and the Heavy misc is uninteresting but still nice. To be honest, the only item I didn't like is the badge, which is a nice big garish gold... chunk. Ugh. Yeah, 70s Chapeau is probably going down as my second favourite all class hat (with number one as the legendary Modest Pile of Hat - nothing will beat it). -
ITT: The news for the next 6 months.

I know someone who is in the army over there. Hope he gets home safe. -
I guess we had a practice one tonight involving DOTA where I sucked at looking at my minimap, and Guy sucked at Shallow Graves, and it all went downhill. And then Left 4 Dead 2 but I had to reinstall and virus scan and argh Are we announcing these sort of game nights in the future on this thread or a Steam group or such?

Black Ops 2. First 24 hours. $500,000,000 for Activision.

As much as one could dislike the Call of Duty franchise, I can't deny that I would easily go down on someone at Activision for that kind of money. -
I Heard "Breaking Dawn Part 2" Was Actually a Good Movie
Skye replied to Just a Gigolo's topic in Entertainment Theater
Yeah, that's what makes Birdemic and The Room so hilarious; the fact that they tried to be genuinely good films (initially, in The Room's case - Wiseau saaaays it was always meant to be a comedy, but I have a feeling that might be a little bit of a lie). That's why I hope Breaking Dawn Part 2 is completely straight faced and continues to believe itself to be a stellar romance with perfect feminist morals to impart. Otherwise, it won't be very funny. >: -
I Heard "Breaking Dawn Part 2" Was Actually a Good Movie
Skye replied to Just a Gigolo's topic in Entertainment Theater
I'm sure that scene is cool, but one cool scene does not save a good movie. Duel of the Fates didn't save Phantom Menace, Neo vs. Smith didn't save Matrix Revolutions, and I doubt a fight scene in this film will repair the damage that its predecessors have done. I wouldn't even say self-parody can fix things now; considering the sort of messages that Twilight has tried to impart on people, it seems to take itself pretty seriously (which is what makes it so funny in the first place). -
I can't connect to the DOTA2 network because of the traffic it must be getting over a new update. *sniffle* Well done, DOTA. You've become a true Valve game. I couldn't be more proud. On the sidelines, you might have missed this. I like how the blog post has alt-text on the picture saying "mid or I feed!" Oh, Valve. :y

I don't care what anyone says, I love Sange and Yasha. Anyone who doesn't is against gay marriage. Why can't you let this fine couple be together? HATERS.

Slark is never going to stop being fun. MWAHAHA. But someone needs to tell me what his accent is, because it sounds like South London to me.

This sums up why the show is so great better than I ever could.

All of them. Yes, even Meepo. Okay, okay, I'll try and be fair and name my top ten eight because of this dumb image limit. 8. Keeper of the Light This old bastard will melt your creeps, blind your carry, and make you leak blue goo. Oh, and he can replenish his mana to keep doing this, all day, erry day. 7. Windrunner A fast and flexible ginger who like scarves and toeless socks. Already awesome, but let's add a powerful skillshot, extra mobility, and tower melting to the list of desirable traits. 6. Sniper Is he cheap and annoying? Without question. That doesn't mean he isn't fun. A master of last hits, capable of killing you no matter how far you try to run. Plus he's hilarious. 5. Juggernaut A masked samurai, and the last of his kind. If his lore and personality wasn't badass enough, how about the part where he is literally so fast, nobody can touch him? Sven wishes he has this good with a sword. 4. Sand King Name a job, and Sand King has it covered. Push some waves? Caustic Finale. Stun and escape? Burrowstrike. Dodge a deadly nuke? Sandstorm. Win the game? Epicenter. This guy will ruin your day - in more ways than one. 3. Bounty Hunter You hear a wisp of smoke. You turn, but nothing's there. As you turn back, you feel a critical strike to the back. Gondar slices at you, and as you try to run, he tracks you at every turn. Just as you try to teleport away, you taste a shuriken in the face. And Gondar gets lodsofemone. 2. Vengeful Spirit Pudge hooks? Mirana arrows? Please. Shendalzere is the one that makes the big plays. Her stun is one of the most potent, and can interrupt an enemy at the most opportune time. Her howl is invaluable in scouting, letting you know who is in that Rosh pit. Her aura makes her very presence frightening. And then Nether Swap. And then Force Staff and Aghanim's... Nothing can stop her. 1. Rubick This guy, man. He makes everything better. The whole enemy team becomes afraid with their spells, lest Rubick come in and show them how it's done. Tidehunters stick to swinging fish around. Enigmas dare not leave the jungle. When a Morphling hears that infamous sound and realizes what he stole, the game is over. Rubick is so powerful, his mere existence is going to make the enemy team think twice. Honorable mentions go to Visage and Tidehunter (who would have taken 10 and 9 respectively), Silencer (who I haven't played since his remake), Nature's Profit (who I haven't played enough to get a feel for), and Winter Wyvern (who I haven't played but already know I will love). EDIT: Ow, Hertz, your PA shrine is actually slowing my browser down.

"My name is Finn " It was pretty good overall. Seeing Finn with the was interesting, and there were some funny moments (i.e. "it feels natural, like peeing outside.") Felt disappointed about the whole thing. Oh well.
