It's a Harry Potter Puppet Pals reference.

That feeling when you know shippers are about to start killing each other. Oh yes. It's delectable. Continue, Hussie. Engorge me with their rage.

If you're trying to be non-lethal and you're getting into fights, something has gone wrong. (Besides, Sleep Darts are like 30 coins and there's an early upgrade which lets them work in combat.)

All characters have a suggested role. I don't always feel you have to adhere to them, based on how the game's going or how your team / the enemy team is set up. For example, Bloodseeker can primarily be a ganker if you need to get some kills done or the rest of the team is already full of carries. I'd still recommend sticking to what the card says. Just don't be afraid to experiment once you've got a feel for the hero. Push n' Support Juggernaut erryday And yeah, I usually hit Random and work with what I get, but my favourite hero is the best hero.

I had the better part of a whole day, making a 12 hour run for the campaign (as opposed to the assholes who said they did it in 6 to 4 hours - they're dirty liars). However, it was my Normal Difficulty Murderous Bastard run to get the feel for things. Now it's time for the real fun. Hard Difficulty Ghost Pacifist run begins. This will take me at least twice that time. And after that, I'm going to try No Black Magic Run (no runes, no charms, and no powers - just me and my blade). If you meant "high chaos means a worse ending", then it's not a spoiler. The developers mentioned it at least three times in their interviews and diary video series thing. Don't let it dissuade you, though. A high chaos run is just as viable, and adds a different challenge. Low chaos means lots of exploration and cunning as you sneak and find alternative options, while high chaos is about skill and utility as you fight enemies and manage your upgrades and supplies. I'm actually a fan of pacifist runs being more challenging and less rewarding, as being the nice guy is the reward for me. It's handled excellently here for the sake of the game's message though;

Double post, because I'm giving a bit of a review here. This game is worth every damn penny I threw at it. That's the short version. For the full version, it's a wonderfully crafted game, where it is abundantly clear at every moment that the people behind it put their best effort into it. The gameplay is (as it should be) the greatest part of the machine. The amount of choice and variety you have in tackling your objectives (whether they be the plot critical missions or an interesting request from a side character) is unparalleled. Other games that mirror its design, such as Deus Ex, are very finely made in their own right, but Dishonored gives you so much more to choose from, and lets you blur the lines where you wish. You can be a truly chaotic mass murderer who refuses to let a single soul live - whether it be an enemy or a civilian. You can kill people with a plague of devouring rats, by possessing them and killing them with their own pistol, by blasting them off to a deadly fall, or just by getting behind them and stabbing them in the back. On the completely other side of the coin, you can play the entire game without getting a drop of blood on your hands. You can knock enemies out instead of slaying them, tranquilize them with sleeping darts from your crossbow, distract them away from your intended path, or simply sneak past them like a ghost. What's even better is that it isn't "be good" or "be bad"; there is an amazing number of ways you could play this game. High Chaos on Very Hard? Pacifist Ghost? Speedrun? No Runes or Charms Run? Blink-Only Run? No Sword Run? If you want replay value, it's here. What about the presentation? The game looks beautiful and depressing, and in the best way you can find. The scenery always feel like a watercolour, with this faded and desaturated colour scheme and lighting for the poor districts, and an oversaturated and colourful palette in the richer areas. Even the characters feel like they've stepped out of a portrait, with stereotypical features that are easy to identify (again, in the best way you can find). The music is usually the quiet background music you would find in a stealth game, but I appluade how they use cues - a dissonant chord plays whenever an enemy has spotted you, for example. The story has a strong narrative. There are a few plot points I wasn't happy with - . However, I was happy with the story overall. Even the opening was impressive, as a simple act of Emily running into Corvo's arms on his return tells you how much Emily trusts you, and when she is kidnapped (not a spoiler - this occurs five minutes into the beginning), you feel compelled to bring this sweet little girl back (and perhaps kill those responsible, if you wish to take a more bloodthirsty route). While not a negative point, I must point out however that this story is grim beyond belief. This rivals 1984 in how grim and vile it can be sometimes. Within the first level of the game, you can come across something in the sewers. I actually had to get up and leave my computer for a moment because of how hollow it made me feel. Of course, that was exactly the point, and despite being something as simple as two models placed on some terrain at the side of a main path in a level, it was the exact motivation I needed to get into the game and save Dunwall. Is this game perfect? No. Is this game almost perfect? Yes. It's hard for me to even think of any problems with the game that aren't subjective or just the most nitpicky things ever. This is easily my favourite game of the year. This could very well be one of my favourite games in recent memory... or ever. Who knows. I'll wait for the giddy feeling of killing someone as a possessed rat to wear off.

Apparently, Steam Subscriber Agreement says that VPNs are not a nice thing. They don't like it when I, you know, want to play a game at the same time as England Junior. I don't get it. But I've already got achievements so it's written in ink that I've already played a game that says "pre-load" on my Steam. Hm. Do I keep using the VPN since I'm already in the act, or should I wait and hope nobody notices? PS: this game oh my god i love every pixel of it

I've borrowed a VPN just so I can play this today. (For reference, Brits have to wait until Friday for whatever reason.) I really hope this works. This will be the slowest unpacking ever. :c EDIT: Done and installing directx stuff YAAAAAAAAY c:

There there, bro. There there.

Tomorrow. Unless my VPN doesn't work. In which case, Friday. For anyone still on the fence - in case the idea of stopping time and killing someone with their own bullet somehow wasn't enough - I don't think anyone respectable has given this game a poor review, or even an average review. Across the board, it's A, A+, 9/10, 10/10, 4.5 star, 5 star, whatever the hell a percentage that should be. Just. Man. This gun b gud.

I'm not- Just- Is this ironic? No, it's genuine. Is it? No, they can't be that stupid. Right? I don't even... Also I'm not sure what the "message" is, but PETA seems to believe that kids abuse their pets. Which is true in some cases, but just... God, I hope that's not what they really think. Unless that's a joke. In which case, they can just go ♥♥♥♥ themselves. /wasalmostangryforasecondthere

Don't worry, Binary. We still love you.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is sitting there on my Netflix. And I want to watch it. But just... the time... If you're a fan of good cartoons, I'd suggest Adventure Time and Gravity Falls.

Apparently I was in this and doing things. I'm okay with that.

Aaaaaaaand done. With nearly two and a half million dollars. For a video game. Worth every cent. (Also don't forget that Paypal donations will be coming soon so this figure might just bump up to the 2.5 mark so we can get the coveted tier goodies.)

I don't know why you're so surprised. I stopped playing it within about three hours.
