My main problem isn't with the whole social network thing - it's essentially what people do already by sending every friend they know a message, so it just keeps things organised.No, my main problem is widescreen layout. About half of the screen size is empty space on either side. I know it's for compatibility with square monitors, but come on, you can organise this better.

I've found that typically, it's best to adjust to your wave. If the big guys for this wave are Giant Soldiers, for example, you want a Heavy with the projectile-destroying upgrade or a Pyro with some good airblast skills. If it's a Tank, you need not worry about taking damage so you want someone who can deal it constantly, like a Heavy with lots of ammo or some Sentry Guns. In another case, it might be about your personal upgrades, such as buying more fire resistance if waves of Pyro bots are on the way, or maybe movement speed and melee weapon upgrades if it's the death by a thousand bats.Of course, the real challenge is balancing your credits and upgrades - if you don't spend enough, you'll be too weak to survive the wave, but if you spend it all without thinking ahead, you won't be able to adapt to the different waves./tryhard
