I can't believe I'm saying this, but...

Things that TTT has taught me: 1) I am a very paranoid person. 2) Helicopters hate me. 3) Elevators hate me. 4) Source Engine melee detection really hates me. 5) Facade is not very good at detective work. 6) Binary is always innocent. Always. 7) Russians are haxxorz. And most importantly: 8) Silent and I have the most love-hate bromance ever - we are as likely to come and save the other from danger as we are to stab them in the face mid-conversation.

I've already claimed a small island. You'll recognise the tiny stone shack and its poorly mined cave nearby. One day, it will have a lighthouse. This I swear. I sure hope nobody destroys it while I'm gone.

TAAAAANK is both really stupid and really fun. It's horribly unbalanced and has no strategy, but it's probably the most heartpounding action I've found in L4D. Running from start to finish with four enormous Tanks after you is enough of a reason to break out the P4RK0UR SK1LLZ.

Just got back from a midday showing of it. Wow. That was pretty awesome. Quick thoughts (with spoilers in spoilers for obvious reasons):Acting is fantastic as ever. Special props to Christian Bale and the rest, but the star of the show for me was Michael Caine. His facial expressions, the way his voice shakes with emotion, even simple things like his body language... He did an amazing job.Bane started as sort of goofy to pretty intimidating. I like the changes they made - the mask still looks cool - though I had a real problem understanding him. In between the thick Slavic/Brazilian/whatever accent and the mask obscuring his mouth, it made me wish for some subtitles.Hathaway did a good job as Catwoman too. I like how they remembered Catwoman's character in this film and actually made her skills involve more than just "acrobatic and looks sexy". The scene in the bar where she's always one step ahead of the businessman after Bruce's fingerprints, along with the way she escapes by acting as a distressed woman in shock? Awesome.One problem I had with the film is that it starts very slow. I wasn't counting the minutes, but it takes a long time before you see Batman appear. I also feel that one or two scenes could have been snipped out without hurting the film (like the scene later on with the Special Forces guys who end up ).Hans Zimmer music is glorious as always.The fights in this film are also pretty damn good. When Bane and Batman are fighting each other, I felt every punch land and it got pretty tense, especially in the sewers My biggest annoyance with the film? SCARECROW. They wasted him AGAIN. That's Cillian Murphy as my favourite Batman villain and they give me about a minute of screentime. That's BULLSHIT. >,:The reveal of at the end was either really clever or completely random. I think it needed just a little bit of foreshadowing - to me, it just came out of left field. Then again, that's the point, I guess? I dunno. I don't like how Bluh, didn't like that bit near the end. I was ready to cry at the scene of And lastly, Blake's reveal at the end. Overall, I loved the film. Do I like it more than The Dark Knight? Hmmm... I think The Dark Knight is awesome, and it's probably my favourite, but Dark Knight Rises came a lot closer than I expected. What a great trilogy. c:

I'd just remind you that you want your medal to have a unique look. Right now, 4 and 5 remind me way too much of the Clan Pride. I'm aware that there are exceptions (i.e. the Duelling Badges look just like the 119th Update badges) but try to go for a more unique shape if you can. For this reason, 1 or 7 is my favourite right now.

Advice for People Who Want a New Pet: If you want something simple, cat. Cats give zero fucks about anything so they're easy to take care of, though they're not very engaging or fun. On the flipside, dogs are a lot more active and exciting, but they require toilet training and exercise and stuff like that. My Favourite Pet: A gecko or newt or some kind of small adorable lizard. One day, I'll have one. :3 Weird Trivia: An uncle of mine owns a pair of mongooses, another uncle of mine owns a pigeon coup, and my mother owns a pony. No, really.

In MOBA news, Heroes of Newerth has recently discovered how goddamn stupid its "let's give players a few random heroes every week and deny them ninety percent of the game's content" business model was, and they have now made all their heroes available for free. No news yet if League of Legends is going to have a similar epiphany, though I expect Riot Games to be too busy rolling in money and getting their players' private details leaked to care.(In seriousness though, I don't hate other MOBA games. They make for a nice change of pace sometimes with their different heroes or game mechanics. Hell, as much as I love DOTA, I miss LoL's Dominion mode.)

I really hope Rayman Origins wins. It got a terrible launch - thanks Ubisoft for completing neglecting advertising and releasing it so close to major titles - and it deserves a bit more love.That said, if Orcs Must Die wins, I won't be too disappointed. I don't even know what the hell Warlock is.

So I tried Summoner last night. In seriousness though, I managed to get the controls down for Phase Shifts and Overlord Mode and Defensive/Offensive Stance and selecting units and all that stuff. I feel that he's not meant to be played solo though, since he shares a different build limit to towers and is probably meant to compliment a defence rather than hold one himself. I also named him Ahriman.

Alright, my EMA (college student funding) is now over with the whole done-with-college thing, I've got no job at least until September, and I've got £40 in my Paypal. Time to strategise. *buys nothing but Summer Keys* Oh yeah, Dungeon Defenders and all its DLC is 75%. Yes, even that Eternia Shards bunch. That's an insane bargain if you want to join me and a bunch of SPUFers, like Bumscags who plays it way too much. Magicka and Deus Ex are also really good deals.
