So hey, reviving the thread because the Extended Ending DLC is out. Aaaaaand it's not very good. They fix a few plotholes and elaborate a bit on the . There's even a touching scene where However, it's trying to fix something that's already beyond broken and it only changes the endings from "terrible and confusing" to "terrible and slightly less confusing". There's also another ending, wherein The twist? No matter how many crew members you enlisted, no matter how many assets you collected, no matter which races you saved, and regardless of ANY decisions you made through the entire trilogy, Apparently, the writers are not happy if you didn't appreciate their super awesome endings. It's enough to make me play the game again, but it's not the endings that this great saga deserved. Alas. EDIT: This is, of course, just my opinion as a fan of the series and an amateur writer at best. The Bioware forums are abuzz with chatter on this and some fans are genuinely happy or at least "tolerable" about the extended endings. To each their own, I suppose.

Come on, it's the modern space opera, with a single hero and his loyal crew racing around the galaxy to save entire civilizations from extinction by an unknown force of evil. You know, with more favourite stores and less midochlorians. My default Shepherd is a female Spacer Sole Survivor. I always thought the female voice actor did a better job than the male one (and I am so not gay for Garrus) and being Sole Survivor is really cool - I like playing it so that Shepherd gets pissed whenever someone mentions Akuze. Spacer was just because I randomized. Then I usually play the game as Paragon-if-you-threaten-me-Renegade-if-you-threaten-others sort of person (except the first game where you had to be a complete saint to get those speech options.) Favourite crew member is Garrus (sonotgayforhim) followed by Tali and Legion. Then again, I pretty much like every crew member. Yes, even the ones like Grunt and Morinth. So yeah, ME3. I loved the demo. It looks beautiful, it sounds beautiful, it plays beautifully, everything about it is awesome. Not sure if I'm going to get it though - the paid day one DLC issue has disgusted me. Day one DLC, fine. Paid day one DLC, not fine. But hey, we'll see if Bioware learns the error of their ways and removes the price tag as a thank you to their loyal fans over the years. Yeah, people seem upset that the pistol has such a "negligable downside". If only the Pyro had some means of setting people on fire from a distance. Like, say, a gun that shot flares, or maybe melted men, or detonated said flares, or even shot something scorching...Alas, I can't think of anything like that. :V

SPUF is a minefield of people whining about the weapons right now, but I've managed to salvage one of the best threads ever made.

Skye's Super Subjective I-Haven't-Even-Used-Them-Yet-So-This-Could-Be-Entirely-Wrong Weapon Rundown! PB's Pocket Pistol: Sounds like a nice item. It's a passive boost without being a drink, and I'm not very good with the pistol so I'll probably take this for a little more survivability. Not sure how the fire damage is a worthwhile con, though. I'd make it bullets or explosive, but whatever. BF's Blaster: I can't vouch for this one yet. People are crying OP and UP in equal measure, but we need to see how it plays in game. I like it personally, with the improved accuracy exchanged for less overall damage, but the speed boosting mechanic needs to be seen in game before I can make a judgement. Cleaner's Carbine: I... don't see how this one got made. With 3 seconds of crits, you can either fire more SMG bullets or maybe very quickly switch to another weapon and get off one swing or shot. It makes me imagine Snipers going on SMG "rampages" but the cons don't seem to fit well for that. I'm glad that we finally got an SMG unlockable, but this doesn't sound like a very good one. Hitman's Heatmaker: Decapitating headshots. I have a massive boner right now. Beggar's Bazooka: The spam. Oh God, the spam. There will be so much spam. The cons help to balance things, but my god this looks awful. I do not look forward to this at all. Scorch Shot: More ways to knock enemies back, along with area damage from afar. I think this is what I wanted the Detonator to be (minus the awesome Detonator jumps, of course). I doubt it will replace my love for the Manmelter, but we'll see. PS: Oh yeah, in terms of design, I like all the items. They're not amazing but they fit and nothing is really awful. Thumbs up to the makers. c:

A neat video to watch. People always seem afraid to experiment with new builds, but I ain't like that. I'm playing around with Bloodseeker right now, trying out farming tools like Battle Fury or other stuff like Mask of Madness and Skull Basher, along with different boots. Not sure why Sange and Yasha is the recommended core. :S

I believe it will be another update week, with this being Day 1, and then the full update and Meet the Pyro on Thursday.Still, win win. Either I'm right, and we get some new items to fawn over, or I'm wrong, and we can all watch Meet the Pyro and die happy.

I'd suggest Dawn of War, but I don't think many peepz own it. And I just play it for The Last Stand mode. :B

I love this game, but it really went too far with "bosses that spawn enemies". Duke of Flies and Gurdy is the annoying timewasting types while the final bosses are the worst. I've lost count of how many times I've killed the final boss, but one of those dumb flying worms or angel babies have killed me at the last second. I'm trying to think if there are any bosses that don't spawn enemies and I can only think of three (Larry Jr, Hollow and Mask of Infamy).I think I figured out why I can't bring myself to call Samson useless. It's because he's so good at clearing bosses. It's a shame he just sucks at everything else.
