It seems that we're starting to expand into other games, with Garry's Mod and DOTA2 recently among the games we've played together. I think Left 4 Dead is the next course. Preferably Versus - I used to be a great Hunter back in the day. I probably suck now, but there's only one way to find out. Out of curiosity, could voice acting be implemented?

I don't want to be. I really don't. When I stepped into the big wide world of the Internet, I was set on being the support guy. You know, the guy who heals you or helps you get to the front line or is basically happy to sit back and help their teammates. That's fun, right? Well actually, I learnt that it wasn't that much fun considering how much your teammates can let you down. I have simply lost count of the amount of stupid players that I have put my trust in, only for it to result in them being interested in that rock over there while I take a few bullets to the face. So basically in a team game, I pick the most non-team-dependant option available. Sniper and Spy in Team Fortress, Assassin in MNC, Gankers in DOTA, whatever. All that matters is that if I die, it's my own fault and not because I've lost all faith in my fellow man. The above angst may not apply in a game with friends that I know. It's just that hasn't happened since the old days when we still had games on cartridges and when Firefly was still on the air. Ah, those were the days.

If they don't buy TP scrolls, that's the universal sign of "I didn't do the research."But yeah, I think the skill range among everyone here varies too much to have team games. I can hold my own against Normal bots, which puts me at bad to average I suppose. I know that you should use wards to keep an eye on the rune spots, you should always have a TP scroll on your person (except at certain times, such as dropping it so you can pick up the Aegis), and that the Divine Rapier is the worst idea ever. I can imagine some players like Rammite have been playing long enough to do crazy stuff (like that Blink Dagger Sand King nonsense) and obviously some others have just gotten the game.I would just recommend making the group based on a five man team where we beat up some bots or take a chance into the threatening world of other players. Or, you know, just mutual badassery.Anywhooooooo, favourite heroes? My favourite so far has to be Bounty Hunter with his escape mechanism, last hitting capability, and all around awesome ganking style. That said, Lycanthrope may be stealing the spot with that insane jungling and pushing power. Least favourite is Zeus. Not just that damn ultimate, but the spell spamming and his bloody stats help too.

I don't suppose we can just get back to whatever it was we were talking about. You know, something about new cartoons? Or just them in general? Abe's Odyssey and Exodus are similar to games like Limbo or Braid; puzzle platformers with their own quirky world. I never beat them because I'm stoopudd, but I'd recommend these two for anyone who wants to test their brain and reflexes. If not now, then at least when it's on offer.I hated Munch's Odyssey and I never tried Stranger.
