Let's see. Um, as a kid, it was the stuff 4Kids would do, you know, like Pokemon and Sonic X. I, uh, won't dwell on that for too long. As for nowadays, I don't watch any anime or manga simply because none of it interests me enough. Both Death Note and Haruhi turned me off in the first episode by having f***ing terrible protagonists - apparently everyone in Japan is an unhinged sociopath who has the emotional range of a spoon. My only real investment in Eastern animation right now is films, and that's usually limited to Studio Ghibli or the occasional indie film - and even in the Ghibli department, I've only seen Spirited Away and Arrietty (although they were bloody amazing.) For laughs, I hope one day to record myself watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. I haven't seen it yet and something tells me that when I do, I want a camera running.

The trailer is pretty cool but I need to see more of what they've changed before I can get all fanboy or RUINED FOREVER.I'm leaning toward the good side, though.

I always thought that Valve's biggest setback as a business was their console branch (or rather not a setback, but a missed oppurtunity.) It seems like something they'll do - I love Valve and their lateral thinking with problems and how to improve and stuff (from their game design to more general business... stuff.)We'll have to wait and see if it's a full blown entertainment device to redefine the industry or just a fancy hard drive or something.

Wait, does that mean there will be British characters? Oh crap. Oh crap. This is Ubisoft. Have you seen their British characters? ...Shiiiiiiit this is going to be paaaaaainful. (For those of you out of the loop, Assassin's Creed features a guy called Shawn who might as well wear a Union Jack on his chest. He also happens to be a self-centred condescending snobbish sarcastic prickface. Ubisoft, as a French company, has never got this idea that Britain is not full of ****s. And now I am deathly afraid of this game. So much.)

Makes sense - Desmond's family tree has to get to America at some point. Very excited to see what possibilities they explore (or don't) with this one.Also who were the bad guys in the American Civil War again? British schools don't teach that in History because America is evil or something. Or because our education board sucks.

Salright. I think it gets too much hate from people who haven't played it and too much love from people who are concerned about the size of their dicks. I'm on the fence - the story and characters are pretty dull, the series doesn't really evolve much, and the cover based combat gets tiresome. However, the soundtrack is always gripping, the multiplayer has more variety than people would think, and despite the love of dark colours like brown and grey, the world is very interesting. The Immulsion Caves, the Riftworm, Jacinto... Seriously, there are some lovely places to blow up in these games.That said, I'm not a huge fan and I never bothered with the third one. Doh well.

The vocalist, the lyrics, the guitars, just face it, this is amazing. The game itself provides more context but that would be spoiling things. The lonely and serene piano music is enough. Metroid Prime stops being merely a game and starts being an eerie yet wonderful experience the second you enter Phendrana Drifts. This is why.
