    Pokemon

ROM hacks are pretty damn good to try if you're bored of the vanilla works. Assuming you have either an emulator or a R4DS card (like me and anyone else with a sufficient level of manliness) then you can try these out. Sacred Gold & Storm Silver or Blaze Black & Storm White. Both of these modifications up the difficulty, adds the National Dex straight away, make every Pokemon available through some means (so no more trading with a certain item or that shit), balances everything from movesets to levelling for each Pokemon except Heatmor ; - ;, and other changes. Seriously, try it out. Don't even care how you do it, just give it a go. PS: Yes. Yes he is. <3

    Indie Game Music Bundle 3

Some of those are actually pretty good, but only a few. The majority are either unknown to me or not that amazing. I won't be picking it up, despite being the "indie buff", but maybe the taste is for others. Music tastes are pretty wildly varied and mine is probably bad.Still needs the Iji soundtrack. God, that game kicked ass.

    Day Z (Arma 2 Mod)

I love the look of this mod, but is it worth getting Arma 2 for it? What about if it's during a sale? Or just not at all?
  4. I used to read it a while ago, and some of it was really good, like the Revengineer Arc. It was like Team Fortress meets Sin City in a nice and goofy way. Then when it dropped into naked Koopa gajinka pin-ups, it spoilt my stomach and I stopped reading. It's a shame, as well, because recently it seems like it's stepped away from the tits direction, but now it's stumbled into the commentary direction. You know those webcomics that are basically the author having a Twitter account about how awful the gaming industry is? Yeah, that. I don't think I've laughed at Nerf Now for months. Then again, people still read it, so I guess it's doing something right. Maybe.
  5. Anime I'm only aware of the dubbed anime that most Western kids would know about in the nineties, from the guilty pleasures of Pokemon and Dragonball, to the things we'd rather forget about, like Beyblade. God, that sucked. As for nowadays, I've had a few looks, but somehow anime never captures my attention. Naruto didn't work for me because nothing really made sense to me and the main character was as brightly annoying as his dumb orange suit. Haruhi didn't work for me because the characters were so one-dimensional that I kept expecting them to fall over like cardboard cutouts (THIS IS KYON. HE IS THE SNARKY ONE. WATCH HIM SNARK.) Death Note actually did interest me, with the animation and soundtrack and stuff, but from what I can tell, the rest of the series is the main character either killing people for no reason other than being a sociopath, or foot massages. And if I wanted those, I'd watch Pulp Fiction. I'm sure I'll find an anime I enjoy one day. ...I swear I will try Full Metal Alchemist at some point, I really will. >: Comics I watch Atop the Fourth Wall. That's about it. I've never had a particular love for comics and I find adaptations, like the films (The Dark Knight and Avengers in particular) to be all that I need. That said, I don't have a problem with them, and like anime, if you like it, that's fine. It's just not my thing. Plus it rivals soap operas in tension. Oh, really? Superman died? Well I'm sure he won't be back in the next few issues. Manga See Comics, with a little dash of gentle racism. Those chopstick jockeys don't know how to make good comics. Webcomics Finally, something I actually read. A bit. I read Homestuck, simply because of admiration of what a single writer/artist/animation/godchild Andrew Hussie can produce. I also read VGCats (when it actually updates), Penny Arcade (because everyone on the internet has to), and XKCD (when I actually understand the jokes with my tiny, pitiful brain). Another personal favourite is Awkward Zombie, which is getting published over at Kickstarter. Go support it plox. If anyone does want to recommend something to me, give the word.

    Poetry

Real bros... ...write prose. I'm aware of the irony in that this, in itself, is a rhyming poem.

    Deus Ex Human Revolution

I did a Ghost run of this game (that's Stealth plus Pacifism) and it was actually a lot of fun. At times it was frustrating, especially with some side missions where you had to get very creative, and taking on the unskippabe bosses took several hours of annoyance, but most of the time it was a cool challenge and I'd recommend it. Sneaking through the vents, listening in on the guards, and then skulking away without them ever knowing has this weird joy to it. Maybe I have a candid fetish or something. Besides the other seventy eight, of course. ...Oh yeah, the rest of the game is great, too. Story and graphics and all that stuff, whatever.

Day 1 DLC vs. On-Disk DLC

I liked that video. Not sure what the guy has against Tom Preston in his more recent stuff, but I'll assume it's trolling. As for the DLC problem, I don't have a problem if it's cosmetic or otherwise optional. If it affects gameplay, such as adding new content that affects the story or other aspects (From Ashes), or weapons/vehicles/whatever that make the game easier (From Ashes again), then I have an issue.I got the Collector's Edition of ME3 anyway, but I still disagree about the From Ashes DLC.Also Capcom loves this and this is why I rarely buy their games anymore.

    The Binding of Isaac

Well, great, now I feel like an ass.

    The Binding of Isaac

  11. Yeah, I'm too weak to survive. Weapons are heavy and I can't swing something or fire a gun without falling backwards with recoil. I could outrun them if they're the slow ones, but I have no stamina whatsoever. I'll sprint like Windrunner for a solid minute, but after that I'm easy pickings.Maybe I'm too skinny for the zombies to bother with. Especially with brains./selfdepreciation:thepost

    [NOSTALGIA] Bionicle

Oh that's cute, you thought I had any to begin with. :3c

    [NOSTALGIA] Bionicle

I saw this as a kid and thought it looked dumb. Bare in mind that I liked Power Rangers as a kid, and I thought this was too dumb. That's quite something. But hey, to each their own. I guess you just like building things. Must be a guy thing. *plays with ponies*

Meanwhile, Skye tried Clockwerk. It went bad.

    The Binding of Isaac

I think the game is okay. When it's good, you have a lot of fast-paced fun and enjoy the exploring, but when it's bad, nothing makes you ragequit more after getting to the Cathedrel or Shoal and then dying. I hate roguelikes that do that. It makes me feel like I just wasted the last thirty minutes of my life. Also those endings suck.I still find myself playing it, though. Weird. I guess I just have a thing for existential games that deal with abortion, suicide, stillbirths, cancer and poop.

You could always do a Nuzlocke challenge. Like mine.

    Homestuck

Wish I could make those backgrounds transparent more easily. But yeah, that's my artistic skillz. total pro "One who exploits rage as a weapon for their own means, and can protect others with their own rage." ...Huh. I got no idea for this one. I would say you just get a strong rage bloodlust, but that's Prince and Bard. I'm not sure how this one would work, sorry.

    Dota General

Nyx Assassin looks like a bloody beast. Also Lanaya is awesome. Anyone who covers the lower half of their face is automatically awesome.
  20. Skye

    Homestuck

"Knights are warriors that exploit their aspect as a weapon."So... this.Or Bloodseeker.
  21. Skye

    Homestuck

Heir; "one under the protection of their aspect", or "one who protects themself by using their aspect". Blood; "common theories include affinity, affection and unity in general". Your role is to keep everyone united by their bonds, so you serve as the "blood brother" for others. In terms of power, you are protected by blood, so your power would probably be that you can fuel or improve yourself with blood. So yeah, you're pretty much a rainbow drinker vampire. I should get my tablet and doodle some stuff about these roles. Oh, I'm back, I guess.
  22. Skye

    Homestuck

Let's try that title generator thing. "Destroyer of rage, or one who destroys via rage." ...Hm. Isn't that... interesting.
  23. I think I'll continue my lurking until my demands are met, thank you very much. *cloaks*
