Amulet of Vigor's for the Messenger, Zombie Apocalypse and Army of the Damned-they all come in tapped, and this offsets that. Because what's the point in putting 13 zombie tokens on the field unless they can actually DO stuff? Phyrexian Crusader's probably going to be out, although I really like its protection from red and white-my friends pretty much all use those colors, and this is just like "haha, can't do shit to me!" to them. Undead Alchemist is in as both an alternate wincon (milling instead of just beating the shit out of everyone) as well as another token generator to use with Endless Ranks of the Dead. That's just my reasoning for having them in, but idk. It's still in the early planning stages, seeing as I'm probably going to get this deck after I get back from England.

Yeah, like I said-the "Krieg is Gaige's dad" theory is really kinda shitty-apparently they had either the same voice actors or similar sounding ones, so people took that and ran with it.

I've finally gotten around to making a zombie tribal deck!

Wow, that's really damn good. I'm jealous, haha. I just bought a few Avacyn Restored and Dark Ascension boosters for fun. I know they're gonna be rotating out soon, but I just love the flavor that Innistrad block had. Pulled reasonably well, too-2 mythics (Beguiler of Wills and Drogskol Reaver), Wolfir Silverheart and a foil Geralf's Messenger. Wasn't my best day of pulling, but I don't think I'm going to match that day that I pulled a Voice and Master of Cruelties consecutively anytime soon. I'm actually gonna be buying a bunch of singles soon, I'm just not sure exactly what to get. I know I've mentioned a few times that I'm going to be making a Jund deck once Theros rotates into standard. I figure I should probably get some shocklands-I'm only probably going to get 4 or 5 though, my overall budget for this little shopping trip's only about $50 or so.

Final Loot List: Civ V: Brave New World Tiny Tina DLC Civ IV (Free because I bought BNW at full price) Civ IV: Beyond the Sword Hands down the least I've ever bought during a sale. I didn't even crack $50, and $10 of that was buying my friend the BL2 season pass because he'd bought me BL2 when it was on sale a few months back. Twas good.

Man, the Skyrim soundtrack...it's freaking unbelievable. One of the few things on my ipod that I actually bought from Itunes. I talked about it a few months back, but check out Skotein's "Kanto Symphony"-he took Pokemon Red/Blue's music and orchestrated it. It's absolutely beautiful.

God fucking damn it. They just announced For the Vault: 20, and goddamn Jace the Mind Sculptor's in it. It's gonna go for easily $150 now, instead of just $40. I was really hoping to get it, too.

I haven't played Dragonborn yet, but in my opinion Dawnguard is really, REALLY disappointing. It's FAR more cave-oriented then even vanilla Skyrim was, and the main storyline just sort of...ends really abruptly. At least for the vampire side it does. I wasn't impressed at all.

Oh darn, now I actually have to play with my idle accounts. Which I did anyways because whenever I overnight idled, my computer would just restart to install updates. Because Microsoft's a dick.

I do believe that they've run out of ideas for games to flash sale.

So I've been playing this for a while, and I thought I'd share a few stray observations/tips with you guys. This expansion adds a LOT to the game-in my opinion, even more than Gods and Kings did. I'm a fairly decent player, but by no means an expert. So take this with a grain of salt if you will, this is just stuff that I've either learned firsthand or have been told by other, better players. [*]Trade routes are now the most important thing, hands down. If you don't have good trade routes, or any at all, you will lose. Period. This really forces you to think long term, at least in the beginning. I recently played a game as the Aztecs where I built an incredibly strong military and steamrolled the first City-State I found. No big deal, right? Well, 40 turns later the City-State I annexed was doing great, my military was feared by all, and I was completely bankrupt because that was the only other tradeable thing on my continent-everyone else was just too far away. So if you're going to warmonger, make sure you leave at least one person alive so that you can trade in the future. Which leads me to my next point... [*]DON'T FUCKING WARMONGER. They dramatically changed AI interactions for this stuff, which I think is completely bullshit. Previously, you'd incur a diplomatic penalty with other civs when you declared war. Depending on how your standing with the civ in question was, it'd be larger or smaller-if you hated them, the other guys probably won't care. If you had Declaration of Friendships, everyone else is gonna hate you. Now, you incur a penalty for every enemy city you take. And that isn't just if you declare war either. If I get DoW'ed by Catherine (that bitch) and I decide to burn 3 of her cities to the ground, everyone else will start calling me a warmonger, even though she started it. This is especially bad in early game, because if you decide to knock out an early neighbor and another guy sees it, he will NEVER forget it. Ever. This can be very, very bad come the World Congress. [*]Certain World Wonders now have to be "unlocked" by being in the correct policy branch. For instance, Liberty unlocks the Pyramids, while Honor unlocks the Temple of Zeus. This might effect your policy choices, especially if you want to have a strong standing in the World Congress-I believe Patronage unlocks the Forbidden Palace, which gives you 2 extra delegates. Which you're going to want. [*]The World Congress is another enormous change, this time more mid-late game. Basically, you're going to want to discover every other civ and then research Printing Press. Whoever does this first gets to host the Congress and gets an extra delegate. Delegates=votes. Every civ starts with 1, then you can get more through various means-if you're hosting, if you have the Forbidden Palace, and in later eras, you get a delegate for every ally City State you have. You can also trade with other civs for their delegates' support by sending a Spy into their capital as a Diplomat. Basically, if you have enough gold, you can just buy your way into anything you want. You can suggest multiple things-Arts funding, which increases the production of Great Artists, Musicians, and Writers (at the cost of Generals, Scientists and Engineers), the Worlds' Fair, which lets you put your production towards it in a contest that gives seriously good rewards if you win, and my favorite, embargoing! Is Hiawatha being a dick to you? Make it so that his entire economy collapses! Seriously, I can't stress this enough-if you have enough gold, you can buy any vote you want. I got Arabia to vote yes on embargoing themselves. [*]They reworked Culture and added something called Tourism, but it's kind of complicated and I honestly have no idea how it works. Sorry. [*]You can build Archaeologists, which can go anywhere and dig at special places called Antiquity Sites. Then, you can make the site into either a Landmark, which gives culture when worked, or bring an artifact to a museum you own, which will give you tourism. Which is good, I think? [*]Alexander the Great is still a colossal asshat. Seriously, fuck that guy.

I really need to stop blindly buying Humble Bundles without seeing what's actually in them...3 times today I went to buy a game only to find that I already own it.

Battlefront. Either would suffice. I'd also say Civ because I've been doing it a LOT lately, but it's still a bitch to set up, even with Brave New World. And if just one person doesn't have a DLC, you can't use it. So we'd all have to have at least Gods and Kings because I wanna take everyone over with hyper-aggressive Buddhism, goddamn it.

Kerbal Space Program is on sale for $13.79. Get it. You won't be sorry, it's a fantastic game.
