Also-when I get my tablet, I'm either -completing my mono-black deck (about $50, but it's only vintage/legacy legal and could only really be used in my casual group -remaking my Standard Golgari deck and getting a budget U/G Modern Infect deck. It'll be about $40, and I'm leaning towards doing this. I don't actually have any Standard-legal decks anymore, and would like to bring at least one with me to England, along with my Modern Rakdos and Infect. So...think I might do this. Which means that I have to figure out exactly what to put in it. Here's what I've got so far, I've got roughly half of the cards there. I *think* this might turn out well, but I've shown time and time again in the past that I'm rubbish at making decks, so what do I know?

Ok, when I say 50 bucks I usually mean that I try to keep it around there but inevitably fail because I'm horrible at budgeting and love getting those insanely expensive bombs. So more like 100 and up, really.

I do want a sliver deck, but honestly at this point it's "Ok, I can spend maybe $15 on rounding out my playsets of the good scavenge cards (Slitherhead, Deadbridge Goliath, Corpsejack, Lotleth, etc) or I can spend $50 on slivers. Even though I'm also still working on that mono-black deck." It just isn't in the cards right now, no pun intended.

Well, that's good to hear. In other news, I realized that once Innistrad rotates out, I'll need to replace like...4 cards in my B/G Golgari deck to keep it standard. Of course, I'm going to do a major overhaul on it, seeing as I've somehow gotten ALL of the shitty scavenge cards and hardly any of the good ones, but it's still nice to know that I did something right there. I'm thinking of making it a B/G/R deck, but I have a really bad feeling that I'd need to get shocks for that, and I simply can't afford them at the moment.

Aww...so remember how I was so excited about the FNM Rakdos Cackler? It's like...10 bucks per card on ebay right now. Not sure if that's just because it was the first week, but still. Kind of disappointing.

This is just further cementing my desire to move to Scandinavia asap. I mean seriously-look at Norway or Sweden. They've got their fucking shit together.

Yeah, so far I've seen a few good suggestions. I like the idea of doing Genesis Chamber + Confusion in the Ranks...I don't know. Do you guys have any ideas for just absolutely ridiculous decks that'll make my friends hate me?

Hmm...can anyone think of any good deck themes centered around Norin the Wary? Realized I have a copy of him and I want to make an uber-trolly deck to piss my friends off. Or any "troll" strategy, really. I'm not picky. It's been a while since I've made a deck and I want to get back into it.

No, apparently their respective girlfriends hated each other, and the rumor that's going around says that Jon's girlfriend said something about Suzy, so Arin slapped her. Jon left and quit the next day. It's probably unfounded, but hey-kinda makes sense.

Well I mean, there's a LOT of rumors going around about a really sudden and nasty split between the two of them, and that's why Arin hasn't said shit since. It'd be nice if he said something about it.

The new guys seem to be growing on me a bit. I just wish that Arin would say something about what happened...he hasn't mentioned Jon since he left.

Welp, seeing as my internet is shoddy at best here, I downloaded a ROM of Platinum and started playing it today. I just beat the first gym. My team so far: (Not going to show movesets because at these levels, they're all pretty predictable) Monferno Lvl 14 (Naive) Budew Lvl 16 (Hardy) Staravia Lvl 14 (Adamant) Psyduck Lvl 11 (Mild) And for that survey thingy: Generation: II Legendary: Articuno Movie: The first one, duh Gym Leader: Whitney. Simply because last time I fought her I'd spent 4 hours searching for and then grinding a Heracross. She swept literally the entire gym-trainers too. Protagonist: Red Team: Rocket/Galactic Pokemon: Sceptile 2nd favorite Pokemon: Aerodactyl Eeveelution: Espeon Professor: Oak Anime whatever: That time where they did the thing and Team Rocket got blown up Move: Guillotine. Just for the cringe-inducing mental images of when it connects. Pokegirl: Cynthia.

Ok, I need some clarification on the rules for this guy-say that I'm playing a R/G deck, and he has a Primordial Hydra and an Arbor Elf out. Whatever, I just pulled those out of my ass. Anyways, I summon two Tidebinder Mages and target those two guys. Next turn, he Lightning Bolts the Tidebinder Mage that had targeted his Hydra. Now, my question is-since the card says "as long as you control Tidebinder Mage", and I still control a Tidebinder Mage, would the hydra untap? Or can you effectively lock down multiple guys as long as you have at least one of these guys remaining on the board?

Suggestion for next week-Star Wars Battlefront 1. You have to download a program called Tunngle to get on multiplayer, but there's still servers that run and we could definitely find an empty one to play on.

Oh yeah, forgot about Houndour. Still though-not exactly a choice fire-type (and when I caught one at the time I was using an Umbreon...didn't want dual-Dark type)

Just curious-who'd you pick for your starter? I did Piplup, but I kinda wish I'd done Chimchar because the only other fire-types you can get as far as I know are Ponyta and Magmar. Neither of which I'm really interested in. I currently have my Altaria with Flamethrower just for the coverage.

I'm really, really liking Chandra's new artwork. Like, she actually looks kinda attractive. Wish I could say that I liked her abilities though... Also-Clone and Progenitor Mimic are going to be in Standard together. The mind reels at the possibilities...

Seriously, watch Toy Story. In my opinion, it's the best Disney/Pixar movie. The best. The second and third ones are spectacular, too.
