Ahem. I think you forgot about Gen IV's best pokemon. Seriously, get one of these guys for your Platinum runthrough. I've had mine on my team since it was level 2, it's like 56 now. Platinum has some of the absolute BEST starting area Pokemon, between this and Starly. And the Abra you can trade for in like the first city, he rocks too. For quite a while (like, the first 4 gyms at least) my team consisted solely of my Piplup, Shinx, Starly and Kadabra. And we fuckin faceraped Sinnoh.

Oh my god, they showed that show on BBC America one day and I was really bored and watched the lego one and I thought he was really funny, and my dad was like "you know he does a show about cars" and that's how I actually discovered Top Gear.

Dude-Clarkson (along with John Cleese) is like my favorite British celebrity. Have you read the stuff he writes? Absolutely hysterical.

I haven't watched Top Gear in a while-I've seen all of the specials though, and I think I've got something like 6 seasons on Itunes. I'd love to get back to watching it though, I love that show.

So maybe the new guys are growing on me a bit. The Mario 2 runthrough is really entertaining, and I've been meaning to get Castle Crashers for a while. So it's cool to see them playing it.

I dunno...I honestly think it's just too soon. I'm sure eventually I'll accept them, but a) I'm REALLY bad when it comes to change. Like...it's bad. And it really just came out of the blue. It really just doesn't seem like my thing right now...I got really annoyed by their voices like...3 minutes in. And that's saying a lot, seeing as I'm used to Jon's stuff. Also, the like/dislike bar for this video and their first one is freaking hilarious-I haven't seen them this red since Rick Perry's last campaign ad.

Seriously though-the one time I can remember beating it after it got set up is when we were playing a two-headed dragon game, and my teammate pulled a Homing Lightning, after which I was able to get through with 2 Desecration Demons and Rakdos.

My friend threatens me with that...he has this deck that just SHITS Goblin tokens. And since I rarely ever run mass removal...it's not pleasant.

Yeah, I kinda figured that Infect's no fun to play against-in my playtests of this deck I'd be winning by turn 5 at the latest. It's mostly to play against my friends when I get back from England. If I can't put the mono-black or colorless Eldrazi decks together by then, I want something a bit more beefy to play with than my Rakdos deck. It worked well when I last played them, but I have no idea what it'll be like 6 months from now. Infect seems like it's been a constant ever since it was released, and unless Theros does something to change that, it should still be as viable as ever when I get back. Plus, I know for a fact that none of my friends use infect in their decks-only one of my friends really uses any pre-Return to Ravnica keywords besides me, and he really just uses Mountainwalk/landfall. So it'll be a very nasty surprise for them. We're a pretty casual group, I'm definitely the most competitive out of everyone. And hey-the deck costs like 15 bucks at the most, it'll be a fun thing to fall back on if needed.

Seems like they got it working again, here's the deck I was talking about if anyone was interested. Seems like an incredibly fast deck, with few (if any) concrete options after turn 5 or so. I was hoping to get a playset of Rancor to put in there, any suggestions for what I should take out to do it?

Anyone else having a problem with tcgplayer's optimizer? I'm trying to buy this really cool-looking mono-green budget infect deck, but I can't optimize it.

I could probably make a decent EDH deck...but I have no idea how to start. Also, my friends are thinking of making a Rise of the Eldrazi cube-think that'd be a decent idea? Mostly commons/uncommons, I think. My buddy said he was going to order a complete playset of them from Ebay.

Hmm, I dunno. I'm leaning a lot towards the more creature-y aspect of black, I don't want this to just be another mono-black control deck. Now, is that right? It's a sorcery, so you can't play it in the beginning of combat to tap DD like his ability says. So is he wrong about that? It just doesn't seem right to me.

I just grabbed a Phyrexian Obliterator (and I'm working on a second) from ebay for a decent price, and I've always wanted to make a really sadistic and mean mono-black deck. I think I've got the base down, but I just feel like I'm missing something...ideas? Also, where's a good place to get feedback on decks? I've tried r/magicdeckbuilding a few times, but I never actually get any responses there...
