Soooo...did you install TF2 then?

Deoxys really, REALLY sucks at these low levels. He's just not worth it, imo. Replaced him with an Elekid.

I actually changed him to Speed forme, while it brought his Atk and SPatk down a bit (from 60ish to about 42) his defense actually increased from 25 to like 38 or so. He still has shit moves, because I don't have any good TMs. But at least he can battle now.

So I just downloaded an emulator, a ROM of White, and got the Randomizer Action Replay code. I'm limiting myself to the first pokemon on each route, so that I don't just stack the team (even though it's pretty stacked already...). I started with a Tepig, but I boxed him because I've got WAY better Pokemon right now. At the moment, my team is: Vaporeon Lvl 18, Jolly nature Krookodile Lvl 20, Docile nature (This was my first catch. Freaking. Awesome.) Deoxys Lvl 15, Hardy nature Roserade Lvl 19, Mild nature In my box right now, I've also got a Pansage, Manaphy, Tepig, and Whimsicott. I just don't really need them right now, these four are good enough. Allthough, Deoxys is really kinda lagging behind...he doesn't know any good moves (He's got Nightshade, Cut, Wrap and Leer), his Defense is complete shit (it's like 20 right now. Not even kidding) and he levels really slowly. Not sure if I should bother keeping him, or switching his Forme (he's normal right now), or what. Suggestions?

Hmm. I've been doing some research on this Raspberry Pi thingy, and while it seems sweet (check out this site for a guy who made a wearable computer using it) I'm not sure if I'd be able to use it. The only sort of programming experience I have is a semester of HTML I took more than 4 years ago when I was still in high school. No idea if I could even make something that could do word processing.

How much do you think it'd cost? Seems like that could actually work if I got a slightly bigger keyboard.

Ok, so what exactly IS this Raspberry Pi? I'm really not the most tech-savvy guy, but I've been hearing this thrown about a lot and I really kinda want to know what it is, it sounds interesting.

Yeah, of course. I would bring my laptop with me to class, but it was like $1200 and I'm always paranoid about it getting broken/stolen. Plus, it's got a shitty-ass fan, so if I over-exert it at all it sounds like it's gonna blow up. Not exactly the best thing to have during a lecture. I really just want something I can bring with me to class to take notes, it doesn't even need a wireless card. Just a USB port, really. And a keyboard if possible, my handwriting sucks. That's another big reason I want to get away from paper notes, I can't read what I write down.

Binary, you're somewhat of a tech god, so I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for something that I can use to take notes on next semester, a tablet or a netbook or something, I'm just sick of carting around oodles of notebooks for all my subjects. I'm hoping for less than 100 bucks, the cheaper the better. Doesn't have to be anything super special, just something electronic and cheap that I can use to take and store notes. Powerpoint capability would be a nice bonus, but it's not necessary. Any ideas, oh wise one?

Glad to hear that the tablet version of it is living up to the hype, by all accounts. I might actually look into getting either the Surface or a similar tablet.

Huh, really? Maybe I'll buy it on Steam in that case...when I last checked about a year and a half ago there wasn't much of anything there.

Honestly, it's kinda debatable. Was Battlefront II a great game? Hell yes it was. But the first game had SUCH better maps, and the game felt a lot smoother, in my opinion. Plus, Battlefront II multiplayer's pretty much dead nowadays, and Battlefront 1 still has a pretty thriving online community.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II is on sale for $2.49. This is such an awesome deal, this was one of my first games I played, and I had some insanely good times with it. I highly recommend it. I think KOTOR I and II are on sale too...they sadly still don't sell the original Star Wars Battlefront though :/

My SF Scattergun is my most prized TF2 possession. I highly recommend getting one, especially seeing as there's less than 1000 in the entire game.

Yeah, if you're gonna get Dark Souls, and I CAN'T BELIEVE I'm saying this, you might as well just get the console version.

I've REALLY enjoyed Primal Carnage. Dinosaurs vs. Humans in a deathmatch, with a L4D vs-esque co-op free DLC called "GET TO THE CHOPPER!!!" being released later this month. 15 bucks. Totally worth it.
