Yeah, Washington seems to be similar to New York in that aspect-when you're by Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, New York City, Albany, etc, it's pretty Democrat-leaning. But everywhere else, you've got a LOT of Republicans.

CNN puts Obama at 238 electoral votes. So. Damn. Close. We may actually see the result before midnight.

From what I can see, Obama's gonna be getting the Pacific Northwest and Cali at 11, but that'll still put him a few votes under the required 270. I honestly think Florida's gonna be the factor here.

I'm currently using both Yahoo's election tracker and CNN's. They're both relatively close to each other, so I can cross-reference between sites to see what's really going on. Looks like Florida's gonna be the deciding factor. Again.

I'm quite pleasantly surprised by Colorado I'm disappointed in Virginia, North Carolina and Wisconsin, however.

So this was my first chance to vote...and I couldn't. I had to get an absentee ballot from my county, which where I live means I had to actually call them to get it. So of course my cell phone decides to be all like "Haha, I'm 3 years old and now I'm gonna spontaneously break so bad that I can't send or receive calls anymore". So I didn't end up voting It's not like either of them are exemplary candidates anyways...they both suck in their own special way. EDIT: Holy 1000th post, Batman. I'm a Pootato :woop:

I just realized-The Angels Take Manhattan premiered on September 29th. Hurricane Sandy hit land on October 29th. What's one of the main places it hit? New York. I have a feeling the Doctor just went "Fuck it, I'm getting Amy and Rory back now"...

So I'm in Rochester NY, which if you don't know is approximately 300 miles or so away from the ocean. We're already getting enormous amounts of rain and wind, and the city just declared a state of emergency. The hurricane hasn't even made landfall yet, according to the Weather Channel. I'm starting to get worried.

Nothing here in Rochester yet, but for some reason people are predicting 25-foot waves on the Great Lakes. Yeah, ok. To all the people out east, good luck.
