I was thinking of selling my SF Scattergun (worth about 2 buds now, apparently) for an unusual, then when I saw what I could actually get for 2 buds I was like "lolno". Seriously, unusuals are getting more expensive by the day. Goddamn traders. OT: This game looks amazingly awesome, Hannah from the Yogscast got her hands on an early press copy and is doing a runthrough of it. Looks solid. Wish I hadn't spent all of my money on dice made of lava from Mount Vesuvius/wood from a Jack Daniel's barrel.

I just realized we didn't have a thread about this brilliant, brilliant show. Anyone else watch it? My parents have watched it for a while, they've got the first 4 seasons on DVD. I started watching it this summer and I'm now almost done with season 5. It's an incredible show, and the amount of historical detail is just staggering. And coming from a history major who's been studying this period kinda in-depth for the past few years, that's saying a LOT. Honestly-amazing show, watch it if you haven't already.

That's the thing I don't get about PETA/vegetarians in general. Humans were originally carnivorous, for the most part. Sure, we may have eaten the odd fruit or vegetable, but it wasn't until the advent of farming that we really became omnivorous in the first place...

It's really kind of an overused thing, people have been comparing Pokemon and animal cruelty since Red/Blue...this is really nothing new at all.

Just be careful with Xchat, while it's by far the best IRC program out there, after 30 days the free trial runs out and you can't use it anymore. I recommend using Mirc instead, if you don't feel like paying for a client. That being said, it's totally worth the 20 bucks or so to get Xchat, I've used 3 or 4 IRC programs over the years and it's definitely the best client I've ever used. I actually paid for my version :smokin:

Hey guys, check out delugerpg.com-it's a Pokemon RPG-ish type thing. It's pretty fun, you can choose from any starter + Eevee, Pidgey and Pichu to start, and you can catch all of those later as well (I started with a Treecko, caught a Charmander as my first catch. They're now fully evolved). Leveling's really easy, too. It's quite fun, my name on there is alexgndl (surprise surprise). Check it out!

I've got a decent Dinosaur deck that can be swapped out to become an equally good Umi deck. Don't ask how, it just somehow works. My favorite card has got to be "Inaba White Rabbit"-it attacks your opponent directly (700 per turn) and when you summon it, it's returned to your hand after every turn. So you basically summon it, attack, then get it back. It's kind of a great troll card. Also, Dark Driceratops is a boss.

Double post ahoy! I was just wondering-has anyone watched any of the Classic Who episodes? I'm thinking of starting and was wondering if anyone here has actually done it before...certainly not gonna watch ALL of them, just the really good ones. And most likely the very first episode, just because...well, it's the first. Gotta watch it. So if you have watched anything from the Classic era, any recommendations?

Just wondering-how'd you get your copy for free? I enjoy free things and even though I'd never play it, it'd be nice to be able to say that I got both Battlefield 3 and MW3 for free. Yes, I got BF3 for free, long story.
