Seriously, I've played on EU servers at my college (where the wifi is notoriously bad) with a ping of 30. The ONLY thing it struggles with is large minecraft servers, but even then, they're still playable.

Bulbasaur. Nobody ever chooses him, it seems...I did a LG runthrough with him about a year ago, it was so much fun. Plus-one hitting Brock's Onyx. Eh? Eh?

I think that next time I get a computer, I'm gonna build my own. Not sure though. Probably won't be for another few years, I only got my Vaio (great, GREAT computer, btw) last year, had it customized and all that jazz. It's about the same specs as my buddy's Macbook pro. Mine cost $1000 less. He still says he has the better computer. Except...his has trouble playing the first Starcraft. I can play Skyrim with full graphics :D

Good, I completely forgot about that...I have room for maybe 40 more tracks, but I can't get any powered tracks However, I've got 30ish gold ingots, and a stack of redstone, so we can make some more if needed.

Everyone-feel free to loot my shit, I'm all packed up and ready to go. If you don't know where my house is, it's the fist on the right when you get on the boardwalk, it's in front of the community house. There's not much, but for anyone who might be kinda poor, there'll be a bit there. I only ask that you leave the farm intact, I'm still harvesting the melons there, trying to get a full stack of melon blocks.

Everyone-try to grab at least one chest, too. That way, you'll be able to have an absolutely full inventory, and then clear it once we get to the New World.

Don't think I'm gonna be on the server anymore until the new map, it's always empty, rainy and sad. That being said, got my inventory done: I know it's not too much, but it's all that's really valuable to me. So...yeah.

If I bring a few maps with me, will they start showing the new map, or will they have the old world still on them?

I'm bringing at least some melon seeds, as those can be a BITCH to find sometimes. I'll grab a lava bucket when I go on tonight. I'll also probably have quite a bit of charcoal/coal with me, as well as a few stacks of smooth stone, for whatever we may need it for. If nobody objects, the night before the update hits (Tuesday night, EST) I'm going to dismantle a good part of the metro, so we have tracks/powered rails/redstone torches/stone bricks and whatnot. We sunk a LOT of iron into that shit, don't want it all going to waste. I've also got a stack or so of gravel, give or take. Not sure about the flint, may have used it all for arrows.One more thing-eggs. Should we bring some, on the off chance that there's no (or very few) cheekens around when we spawn? This way, we'll be able to get at least a little source of food going straightaway.Also, Dualjay-if you're gonna be the botanist of the group, you should try to grab some cactus/sand. There's a desert by Nothing's house, it's northwest of SPUFville.

I would also like a way to protect your land from people who wish to do it harm...doesn't have to be overly complicated or anything.

Personally, I watch LPs for the humor value. Especially if I've played the game before, it lets me kinda just sit back, see how they did things differently than me, and chuckle as they make the same observations that I did. Or if you're a certain Swedish youtuber I know of, laugh my ass off as they spawn in a Horker follower in Skyrim, name it "Walrus", and RP it as a serial child killer who occasionally turns into a sweetroll.

I'm actually doing a run of Gold right now, I recently had the internal battery replaced, so it's good to go I've also got all 5 Gen 3 games, for some reason. Couldn't find my copy of Red, must've been lost in the move Anyways, Croconaw + Pidgeotto is a beast combination...except against that goddamn Miltank. We all know which one. Need to remember how I beat her the first time...

I've never played Gens IV or V...I don't even know what the starter pokemon are. Please don't kill me :(

1.3 comes out on the 1st?! :DAlso-I LOVE servers that have online maps. Just makes it so much more fun, you get to really see where everything is. That's gonna be a lot of fun.

I'm currently working on making a few maps of the area, I've already crafted 3 and about half of their area is already filled out, from our exploring. Pretty much everything east of Cthulhu island is blank though, I'm gonna work on rectifying that later. When I'm done, I'll post a picture of the full map here.

So we've gotten a nice little town (SPUFville) set up, and it's going along pretty well. Got a few farms, Witty's massive tower, and the arena that Ted insisted we all build. So now that we've got that settled, we've moved on to religion! We've so far got a temple to Poseidon, in the forlorn hope that he'll stop the incessant storms...and a temple to 8 Ball is underway as well. Not sure what else is going on, because I've been constructing my temple to Sheogorath and Cthulhu, as I am their High Priest. It's almost done. Stop by and see what it's all about! I guarantee-you won't want to leave ;)

Yes please... I'd be hesitant to put the Soda Popper in with this, because it's simply charged by running. But you're right, that's pretty much the point of these-however, in normal gameplay, isn't it relatively hard to get 4 heads on an Eyelander? It might be easy for someone to get it on the Bargain, but not for everyone. These are weapons (in my opinion, at least) that promote skill-the better you are at using them, the more you're rewarded. If you suck, you're gonna be an easy target.
