First day of eternal masters spoilers and hoo boy, there are some good ones. JtMS, Mana Crypt (did NOT see this one coming), and probably the most controversial one so far, my favorite card, the wind beneath my demonic wings, it's NECROPOTENCE!!!! But seriously, people are pissed that it got reprinted-calling it the Comet Storm of this set. I'm dumbfounded.

Maro's gone on record saying that Kaladesh was informally called the "Awesome Block" internally. He also said that there's an old mechanic in it that he's been trying to make work for ages. Seeing as it's a fairly artifact-based plane, there's only one thing that can mean:

Dawwwww Also, the moon legendary looks awesome as hell. Super hyped for the grass/flying starter too.

So I bought half a box today of SOI...pulled so much awesome stuff. Behold the Beyond, Olivia, Avacyn, Thing in the Ice and Relentless Dead (TITI and RD from the same pack), foil To the Slaughter...feeling so good. I love this set.

The fakes are getting REALLY good now. It's getting nearly impossible to tell if they're real now, and people are saying that within probably 6 months to a year, they'll be next to indistinguishable from real ones. Also, some spoilers: I'm like...so goddamn close to just saying "fuck it" and buying a whole box of this set, it's looking so good. If Arlinn Kord turns out to be a R/G werewolf legendary creature who flips into a walker, I'm 100% pulling the trigger and doing it. This so far has been everything I wanted and more. Wizards is so forgiven for the shitfest that was BFZ. EDIT: Say hello to the probable new U/B evergreen mechanic. I like it.

HOENN CONFIRMED, GEN 3 REMAKES FINALLY

If this is true, it's going to be the first Pokemon game EVER that I'm able to play as soon as it comes out. Unless of course it's for the new 3DS only, which honestly wouldn't surprise me.

So I was going through my uncommons to find cards to put into Ayli EDH. Found Flesh-Eater Imp...it seems really solid, actually. Free sac outlets are always appreciated, and having Infect plus a pump makes it a wincon all on its own. It's one of those cards that I really hope is as good as I think it is. I also found my copy of Archangel of Thune, which is going to be absolutely nuts. Didn't realize it was almost $30. God, I love deckbuilding.

Did you ever draft conspiracy? It was ridiculously fun. Also, it gave us a TON of awesome stuff for EDH. Even if it was worse than Homelands (which it wasn't), it still gave me Marchesa and I love it because of that. She's one of my favorite EDH decks.

HOLY SHIT CONSPIRACY 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

SCG St Louis was this weekend, 20 of the top 32 decks were Eldrazi. But don't worry-Affinity won. So clearly nothing needs to be done about Modern, it's in a great place. No but seriously. Me and Raz were just talking about this, competitive magic is in the shitter right now.

If I remember correctly, the reason it took 4 months for congress to approve that justice was because he was also facing sexual misconduct charges at the time, and they had to wait for him to be cleared. And that only took 4 months. For it to take 11 months, they're gonna have to like...frame him for murder or something.

Is that paper or online? Because I saw a thing on reddit today where Eldrazi is 44% of the MTGO meta. But I mean, that's normal for these kinds of decks. Remember when Twin was 44% of the metagame? Or pod? Oh wait.
