I don't like RTS games.I don't like not being in control on the individual level. I know I can control a huge swarm of marines or something, but I'd rather be playing as one of those marines instead.There's also the super competitive culture that surrounds them that I don't like.

Not really.Just do your average push the lanes while not overextending, and you'll do fine.They have the classes sorted by how difficult it is to play them, so pick one of the easier ones to start out with.
